HERSCHER – Dagny Olson and Grace Ayodele had two goals apiece as Centennial defeated Herscher 6-1 Monday in girls' prep soccer.

The Chargers (11-2) also got goals from Tori Rogers and Katelynn Martinez. Keeper Micaela McLennand made five saves.

Monticello 1, Danville 1. Hannah Smith scored in the first half for the host Sages (5-7-1) and Mila Moore scored in the second half for the Vikings.

Judah Christian 1, Normal Calvary Baptist 1. Anna Krehbiel scored on a first-half penalty kick on the host Tribe's Senior Night. Judah (2-6-2) had 38 shots.

First Baptist 2, Joliet Ridgewood Baptist 0. Ashley Greazer and Kim Montgomery scored for host First Baptist (3-3).

In softball:

Iroquois West 13, Armstrong-Potomac 9. Karlyn wilken had two hits and knocked in four runs for the host Raiders. Lindsay Yoder went 4 for 4. Kara Carter had two hits and three RBI for the Trojans.

Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 10, Paxton-Buckley-Loda 0. Emily Spangler had three hits and four RBI for the host Falcons (13-5). Regan Romshek and Shannon Zimmerman each added three hits.

Unity 9, Urbana 3. Brooke Chilton had three hits, including a homer, for the visiting Rockets. Masey Robeck and Lacy Pruitt also had three hits apiece.

Tri-Point 7, Fisher 6. Caleigh Hennigh collected two hits and three RBI for the host Bunnies (11-8). Tri-Point scored twice in the top of the seventh for the decisive runs.

Villa Grove 8, South Piatt 7. Rachael Bishop slugged a two-run homer and Tanaya Behl chipped in two hits and two RBI for the host Blue Devils (11-4). Shelby Gallivan had two hits for the Wildcats.

Lovington-Arthur 9, Martinsville 8. Miranda Tabb had three hits and Brittny Phelps knocked in three runs to propel host Lovington-Arthur (5-9). Ashley Stutzman added two hits and two RBI.

Prairie Central 17, Centennial 4. Lindsey Krippel had four hits and Keira Kovach drove in five runs as the visiting Hawks (11-10) cruised. Samantha Ropp and Brittiany Tjarks added three hits apiece. The Chargers (5-8) got two hits from Paige Johnson.

Hoopeston Area 6, Oakwood 4. Kelsey Sollars scattered five hits for the visiting Cornjerkers (10-6).

Salt Fork 5, Milford 4. Hannah Darr pitched a complete game and had three hits at the plate to propel the visiting Storm (13-4).

Clifton Central 4, LeRoy 1. Stephanie Hintz had two hits for the host Panthers (9-6).

Westville 13, Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman 4. Kayla Bryant homered for the visiting Tigers.

Mattoon 6, St. Joseph-Ogden 3. Stephanie Canfield (three hits) and Hannah Bowen (two hits) led the Spartans' offense.

In baseball:

Oakwood 11, Hoopeston Area 10. Casey Fletcher had three hits and Trace McClintock had five RBI for the visiting Comets (11-7).

Villa Grove 12, South Piatt 2. Jesse Shrum homered twice and drove in five runs to power the host Blue Devils (4-6). Michael Bird and Austin Prosser had two hits and two RBI apiece. Bird, the winning pitcher, struck out 10. Dylan Clark had two hits for South Piatt.

Armstrong-Potomac 9, CPCI 2. Link Hambleton and DJ Davis combined to strikeout 13 for the visiting Trojans.

Martinsville 13, Arthur-Lovington 11. Jameson Dycus had three hits and two RBI for the host Knights (2-13). Bryce Yantis had two hits and three RBI.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm 17, Westville 6. Nathan Ross had three hits and four RBI for the host Buffaloes. Kyle Coburn (three hits, two RBI) and Ryan Berry (two hits, three RBI) also chipped in.

Unity 1, Central A&M 0. Ben Reinhart scattered seven hits to lead the host Rockets (15-3). He struck out three and did not walk a batter.

Salt Fork 9, Milford 3. Joel Learnard had three hits and four RBI for the visiting Storm (9-4). Nathan George and Joe Pratt had two hits apiece.

Monticello 7, Maroa-Forsyth 5. The host Sages (11-5) scored five times in the sixth inning to take the lead. Winning pitcher Jacob Williams struck out 13. Jordan Latsko went 4 for 4 and knocked in two.

Schlarman 16, Bismarck-Henning 5. Zach Miller homered and drove in four runs for the visiting Hilltoppers (12-8). Zane Dillon and Kyle Golden (two RBI) each had three hits. The Blue Devils (8-9) got two RBI from Stephen Krout.

Tri-County 8, Cerro Gordo 7. Max Cekander homered and doubled for the host Broncos.

GCMS 12, Prairie Central 5. Tyler Eads (three hits, two RBI) and Tyler Buhs (two hits, three RBI) powered the visiting Falcons (11-8).

Roanoke-Benson 7, LeRoy 5. Eric Steffen slugged a two-run homer for the visiting Panthers (6-9).

Clinton 11, Shelbyville 10. Clinton's Cale Robinson went 3 for 3 with two RBI. Nik Hubrich and Josh Merrick had two hits for the host Maroons.

Sullivan 11, Tuscola 5. Chad Frerichs slugged three home runs and collected nine RBI for the host Redskins (11-7).

Philip Meyer hit a grand slam for the Warriors (7-11).

In boys' track & field:

At Gibson City. Brandon Noe won the shot put and the discus to help St. Thomas More to victory in the 12-team Falcon Invite. Jade Ackerman captured the 100 and the 200 for the Sabers.
