Jason Ziegler,  Junior, Mahomet-Seymour Baseball

Recently: Lefty pitched his first career no-hitter against Normal University High in a Corn Belt Conference tournament game. At 6-1, he is a big reason why M-S won the Corn Belt regular season title.

Quote: "I had never thrown a no-hitter. By the last inning, I was pretty nervous."

Favorite pitcher: Roy Halladay. I like his style.

Favorite team: Cubs

Fastest you've been clocked? 86 mph at a workout this winter

Recently: At Friday's Vermilion County track meet, she was the only girl to finish with four firsts. The Chrisman student won the 100 meters (12.59 seconds) and 200 (26.97) and anchored the 400 relay (53.46) and the 800 relay (1 minute, 55.87 seconds).

Quote: "Overall, it was a great night because I got some fast times. I didn't really celebrate because I was so tired. I went home and slept."

Could you win the Illinois Marathon? How far is it? (More than 26 miles). No way. I used to run cross-country but now 200 meters is about as far as I go.
