URBANA GIRLS' TRACK AND FIELD

The Tigers enjoyed their most productive season in history. Coach Amy Boscolo's team set four school records and had Class 2A state placers in five events. McKenzie White won three medals.

ST. JOSEPH-OGDEN SOFTBALL

The Spartans captured the school's 27th regional title – the second-best total in state history – and stayed in contention for a Class 2A super-sectional it will host on Memorial Day.

CHAMPAIGN CENTRAL BOYS' TENNIS

Senior Kendrith Rowland qualified for state in singles and sophomores Sam Wampler and Ryan Smith advanced in doubles, helping the Maroons to their first sectional title since 1998.

CPCI BASEBALL

The Timberwolves (21-15) ended more than a half century of frustration in the sport, winning the school's first postseason title since 1948. Four pitchers have at least four wins.
