Tuesday's highlights: Millage strikes out 16 in STM victory

Argenta-Oreana 16, Arthur-Lovington 2. Winning pitcher DYLAN SUNDERLAND had four hits and scored three runs to lead a 15-hit attack by the visiting Bombers. ZACH RAMBO added three hits and AUSTIN HARRIS (four RBI), LOGAN SPARKS and TAYLOR FERGUSON (two RBI) had two hits apiece.
Blue Ridge 5, Monticello 3. NICK BUILTA (two hits, two RBI) and CONNER BUILTA (two hits, RBI) led the offensive attack for the visiting Knights. SCOTT HUISINGA and AUSTIN REED (two RBI) had two hits apiece for the Sages.
Danville 6, Lake Forest 5. JUSTIN MARCH doubled and drove in a pair of runs for the host Vikings, who also got two hits from CASH KISER. CODY BURTON struck out eight to pick up the win.
Armstrong-Potomac 8, Hoopeston Area 4. KOLTON VERMILLION drove in a pair of runs to spark the visiting Trojans.
Unity 4, Fisher 1. Winning pitcher TYLER BIALESCHKI went 2 for 4 to lead the host Rockets.
Mahomet-Seymour 11, Maroa-Forsyth 1. Winning pitcher JASON TROYER struck out 12 in six innings and went 3 for 3 to power the host Bulldogs. ROGEN KIPP (three hits), ANDREW LAWSON (two hits) and JASON ZIEGLER (two hits, solo home run) also chipped in offensively.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman 10, East Central 2. HUGH KESTUFSKIE, KYLE COBURN and RYAN BERRY combined on a three-hitter to lead the host Buffaloes.
Paxton-Buckley-Loda 18, Tri-Point 0. DYLAN OVERSTREET struck out six and allowed two hits in four innings to pick up the win for the visiting Panthers.
St. Thomas More 4, Iroquois West 3. MIKE RUBENACKER had three hits and an RBI for the host Sabers. STORM JOOP (RBI), CAM DEEDRICH and CONNOR STEWART added two hits each.
Softball
Charleston 16, Danville 6. CASEY CROMWELL blasted a three-run homer and MORGAN KING went 2 for 3 for the visiting Vikings.
Clinton 14, Hartsburg-Emden 3. MORGAN HICKMAN (3 for 4) drove in four runs, including a two-run first-inning homer to lift the visiting Maroons. EMILY KROEGER doubled, tripled and drove home a run.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm 10, Villa Grove 5. BRITTANY RIBBE drove in four runs with three hits, highlighted by a three-run home run, to power the visiting Buffaloes. SARAH SHOWALTER and KILEE HOFFMAN (two RBI) led the Blue Devils.
Westville 11, Urbana 8. CARSON RICHARDSON went 3 for 4 and drove in three runs to lead Westville, which got two doubles and two RBI from ABBY BARTH.
Urbana was led by LANEECA LIPSCOMB's two runs and two RBI.
Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 16, Milford 4. The visiting Falcons scored 10 times in the third inning and got a home run from Regan Romshek in the victory.
Unity 23, Champaign Central 2. BROOKE CHILTON (four RBI) and LACY PRUITT (two RBI) each had two hits and scored three runs to lead the visiting Rockets.
Blue Ridge 5, Mahomet-Seymour 2. MELINDA WILSON and CHANDLER MORROW each scored a pair of runs and winning pitcher JORDAN WHEELER doubled and drove in a run for the host Knights.
Hoopeston Area 4, Armstrong-Potomac 0. BROOKE KINNEY doubled twice and drove in a run for the host Cornjerkers.
Oakwood 7, Shiloh 6. TESSA ENGLAND drove in three runs, including the go-ahead tally in the sixth, for the host Comets. STEPHANIE HUNT went 4 for 4 with two doubles for the Raiders.
Bismarck-Henning 9, Fisher 3. FRANKIE SHOAF (solo home run), ELYSE LIPPERT and BAILEY BRYANT all had three hits for the visiting Blue Devils. KALLI GOSSER (two runs) and AMANDA CAIN (two runs) each had two hits for the Bunnies.
Tuscola 9, South Piatt 0. AMBER MILLER went 3 for 3 with two doubles and three runs to lead the host Warriors, who got a complete-game four-hitter from ERIN WALKER. SAM LEDBETTER hit a two-run home run, tripled twice and drove in five runs for Tuscola, which also got a solo home run from LEXI ROGERS.

Girls' soccer
St. Thomas More 3, Judah Christian 0. ASHLEY COX scored two goals and JADE BRINKOETTER added a goal and an assist to lead the host Sabers.
Centennial 7, Urbana University 0. GRACE AYODELE scored twice and had two assists to lead the visiting Chargers. KATELYNN MARTINEZ scored two goals and added an assist for Centennial, which got two assists and a goal from DAGNY OLSON.
Mahomet-Seymour 5, Monticello 0. ALYSSA DROLLINGER scored a goal and had an assist for the host Bulldogs, who got two assists from ASHLEY HODGE.
Mattoon 2, Urbana 1. ANNA POTSCH scored on an assist from NICOLE SANDERS for the visiting Tigers.
Boys' track & field
At Monticello. TYLER SCOTT (110-meter hurdles, 300 hurdles, triple jump) won three events for the Sages in a win against Champaign Central. BEN FOLEY won the shot put and discus for Monticello.
At Arcola. TYLER PEARCE (shot put, discus) and ADAM CRUTCHLEY (1,600, 3,200) were double winners for first-place Villa Grove.
Girls' track & field
At Monticello. ATHENA COMBS (100 hurdles, long jump) and SAMONE THOMPSON (300 hurdles, 200) were double winners for Champaign Central in a 73-63 win against the Sages.
At Sullivan. OLIVIA HERZOG won the discus and shot put to lead the Redskins to a win against Tuscola.
At Arcola. ALEXIS CONLIN won the 1,600 and the 3,200 to help the host Purple Riders edge Windsor by a point in a meet that featured Arthur, Heritage, Villa Grove, Stewardson-Strasburg and Shiloh.
