PBL 3-12, Ridgeview 1-1. BROOKE ALLEN had two hits and struck out nine to earn the win in Game 2. J.J. VALENTINE and AMANDA YPYA had three hits apiece on the day for the host Panthers.
Clinton 9, Heyworth 0. The host Maroons got a one-hit shutout from BAILEY WALKER, who struck out nine. EMILY KOGER and HANNA LONG each had three hits and an RBI.
LeRoy 16, Cerro Gordo 1. EMILY SCHOPP, LAUREN RUSSELL, ASHLEY WALKER and SHELBY TUCKER all had two hits to power the visiting Panthers.
Blue Ridge 3-5, Unity 1-6. Winning pitcher JORDAN WHEELER struck out 10 and added two hits and two RBI in the opener for visiting Blue Ridge. The Rockets won Game 2, with two hits and two RBI from MADI CLARK.
Unity 3, Iroquois West 2. Winning pitcher AARON LARSON went the distance, allowing seven hits for the host Rockets. Iroquois West got three hits from KYLE POOL.
Iroquois West 7, Westville 5. T.J. FOULKS had two hits and drove in two runs for the Raiders. TRENTON MILLER scored a pair of runs and drove in two.
Clinton 16, Heyworth 1. MARSHALL SPRAGUE (four RBI) and LOGAN WOOLRIDGE each had two hits to pace the host Maroons.
Lincoln-Way Central 1-5, Danville 0-3. JON COTTEN went 2 for 3 for the visiting Vikings in the opener.
Hoopeston Area 2-7, Blue Ridge 1-6. CODY INMAN, CORY RUDIN, ROSS LANGE and ALEX MOORE all had two hits for the host Cornjerkers in the nightcap.
CONNOR BUILTA, who had a no-hitter broken up with two outs in the seventh inning of Game 1, went 3 for 4 for Blue Ridge.

Judah Christian's MALIK WILLIAMS won the long jump (21 feet, 9 inches) and Danville's CIRRON CLARK won the triple jump (42-4.25) at the boys' Gene Armer Invitational. On the girls' side, GCMS got wins from ANGEL GAESSER in the 800 meters (2:19.21) and SYDNI MEUNIER in the 1,600 (4:59.73). Danville's ALEXUS JIMSON-MILLER won the 400 (59.28).
