In baseball

Rantoul 6, Mahomet-Seymour 0. TANNER McLAIN had two hits, including a homer, while RYNE WORTHINGTON and CHRIS DEAVILLE each drove in a pair of runs for the host Eagles.

St. Thomas More 10, Watseka 6. Host St. Thomas More got three hits, two runs and two RBI apiece from winning pitcher MIKE PLECKI (12 strikeouts) and TRENT KUNAS.

CPCI 11, Iroquois West 4. TREVOR FROEHLING (three RBI) and ALEX RABE (RBI) each had three hits for the visiting Timberwolves, who scored 10 runs in the fourth.

Olympia 10, Prairie Central 5. BRAD MOODY had three hits, including two doubles, for the host Hawks.

Milford 15, Buckley Christ Lutheran 0. RYLEY WARD tossed a five-inning no-hitter with 10 strikeouts for the host Bearcats. ALEX PORTWOOD went 4 for 4 with four RBI.

Pontiac 12, Ridgeview 2. DANA BOSE drove in a run and was a home run short of hitting for the cycle for the host Mustangs.

Deer Creek-Mackinaw 10, Blue Ridge 3. WILL DUGGINS (two runs) and CONNER BUILTA (two RBI) each had a hit for the host Knights.

Unity 11, Tuscola 6. KYLE NEGANGARD and ROBBY CROUSE each had two hits for the visiting Rockets. Tuscola got two hits each from CAMERON WESTJOHN and NOLAN WALSH.

Monticello 13, Meridian 6. NICK STOKOWSKI had three hits, including a double and a homer, and four RBI to power the visiting Sages.

LeRoy 13, Cornerstone 2. DREW RUCKMAN doubled, tripled and drove in two runs for the host Panthers.

Clinton 20, Central A&M 10. GREG OSGOOD (two hits), ZACH PATE (three hits) and COLTEN REEVES (three hits) all drove in three runs for the visiting Maroons.

Lanphier 12, Urbana 6. The visiting Tigers lost despite two hits apiece from MICHAEL THOMPSON (two runs, three stolen bases) and BRIAN SUMMERS.

Casey-Westfield 9, Tri-County 4. AUSTIN COTTLE had two hits, including a two-run homer, for the visiting Titans.

In softball

Urbana 20, Champaign Central 4. TESS ALLEN went 4 for 4 with two RBI and KELSEA BISHOP drove in five runs to power the host Tigers.

Unity 4, Westville 3. RACHEL BILLMAN (home run) and LACEY PRUITT each had two hits for the visiting Rockets. ABBY BARTH had two hits for Westville.

Blue Ridge 1, Deer Creek-Mackinaw 0. Winning pitcher JORDAN WHEELER tossed a five-hit shutout with nine strikeouts and belted a solo home run for the visiting Knights.

St. Joseph-Ogden 13, Paxton-Buckley-Loda 0. SAMANTHA FLEMING and winning pitcher ELIZABETH EVERINGHAM each homered for the visiting Spartans.

Rantoul 13, Mahomet-Seymour 12. HANNAH CARGO's two-run double in the fifth put the visiting Eagles ahead. M-S got three hits, including a homer from ALISON TARRANT.

Ridgeview 13, Cornerstone 3. BRITTANY BOSE (three RBI) and MARISSA FRIEDMANSKY (two RBI) each had two hits for the Mustangs.

Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 15, Armstrong-Potomac 0. JESSICA HUNTER fired a two-hit shutout for the visiting Falcons.

Watseka 15, St. Thomas More 9. KAT GRIMES, HALEY GRAY and DANIELLE SHUPER all had two hits and two RBI for the visiting Warriors. TAYLOR DURING had two hits and scored three runs for the Sabers.

In girls' soccer

St. Thomas More 6, Olympia 0. The visiting Sabers got three goals from JADE BRINKOETTER. LOUISETTE LUKUSA (three assists) and KAITLYN KULAS (two assists) each scored a goal.

Judah Christian 1, Normal Calvary 1. MADDIE JOHNSON scored on an assist by MALLORY NAMOFF in the second half for the host Tribe.

Mahomet-Seymour 9, Danville 0. ALLISON FRITZ scored twice and SARAH VANWINGERDEN added a goal and an assist for the host Bulldogs.

In track & field

At Paxton. CHELSEA LINK (100 meters), KAYLA BURNS (high jump), SYDNEY PORTER (long jump) and KANDACE HOFER (triple jump) were all individual event winners for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, which won a girls' quad.

At Catlin. Makenzie BAKER won the triple jump and high jump for the Oakwood girls, who won the six-team meet.

Salt Fork won the boys' meet thanks to two wins from KALEB WEAVER (long jump, triple jump).

At Arthur. The Arthur-Lovington boys finished second to Sangamon Valley and got wins from ANTHONY HETTINGER (3,200), CALEB SCHROCK (400) and CURTIS PLANK (1,600).

South Piatt won the four-team girls' meet, thanks to a pair of wins by KALEY STANLEY (100, long jump).

At Arcola. Fisher won a girls' quad behind a pair of wins from CARLI CLIFTON (long jump, triple jump) and OLIVIA HEFFERNAN (100 hurdles, 300 hurdles).

Arcola's boys won their quad thanks to wins from ZACH MOUTRIA (triple jump, 400).

At Champaign. St. Joseph-Ogden won 12 events, led by ALEX ARTEAGA (300 hurdles, triple jump) in winning a boys' triangular with Champaign Central and Rantoul.

In boys' tennis

At Mattoon. Champaign Central swept the Green Wave, highlighted by SAMUEL WAMPLER's 6-0, 6-0 win.
