Paxton-Buckley-Loda 10, Momence 0. J.J. VALENTINE went 2 for 2 and scored twice and winning pitcher LIZ SATTERLEE tossed a one-hit shutout.

North Vermillion (Ind.) 14, Oakwood 3. ASHLEY WAHLFELDT homered for the Comets.

Blue Ridge 5, Heyworth 3. Winner JORDAN WHEELER struck out nine and hit a solo home run in the fifth inning. CHEYE BERES collected two hits.

St. Teresa 4, Monticello 3. SARAH FORAN doubled and drove in a run for the Sages.

St. Joseph-Ogden 17, Clifton Central 1. Winning pitcher ELIZABETH EVERINGHAM allowed three hits, struck out 10 and improved to 15-0 for the 21-0 Spartans. Everingham (three runs, two RBI), ABBY IMMKE and MOLLY McELWEE all had three hits.

Clinton 6, Unity 1. BAILEY WALKER struck out 10 and allowed an unearned run en route to pitching a no-hitter for the Maroons. EMILY KOGER, HALEY TOOHILL and HANNAH LONG all had two hits and an RBI for the Maroons.

Watseka 16, Kankakee Grace Baptist 2. KAT GRIMES (three runs), COLLEEN SUCHY and C.J. CROOK each drove in two runs for the Warriors.

Windsor 2, Arthur-Lovington 1. SHERRELLE COLLER collected two hits for A-L.

Tuscola 17, Warrensburg-Latham 5. SAM LEDBETTER (three hits, four RBI) and ERIN WALKER (three RBI) each belted home runs to power the Warriors. AMBER MILLER contributed three hits, including a two-run double.


Danville 8, Champaign Central 0. CHASE THURSTON fired a complete-game three-hitter with 11 strikeouts for the Vikings, who got two hits apiece from CHUCKIE ROBINSON and DALTON MICHAEL.

Neoga 18, Arcola 9. ZACH HUDSON, who scored three runs, was one of five Purple Riders to record two hits. ALEX PLUMMER and JUSTIN HOBGOOD each drove in a pair of runs.

CPCI 8, Watseka 7. The Timberwolves benefitted from five errors and got two RBI from JOSH MARQUEZ. Watseka's JAKE LYZNICKI homered twice and drove in four runs.

Bloomington Central Catholic 12, Prairie Central 2. SPENCER HURLEY and MITCH WESSELS each scored a run for the Hawks, who mustered only two hits.

Blue Ridge 2, Heyworth 0. CONNER BUILTA tossed a three-hit shutout with seven strikeouts and he also drove in a run for the Knights. WILL DUGGINS (run, stolen base) and JEREMY DUBSON each had two hits.

LeRoy 11, Fieldcrest 9. NIC STEPHENS and CALEB GRAYBEAL each had two hits and scored two runs for the Panthers, who got three RBI from NOLAN SAMMER.

Mattoon 4, Centennial 3. JOSH MANOLAKES delivered a two-run triple in the sixth inning for the Chargers.

Clinton 11, Urbana 2. The Maroons, who took a 4-0 lead after the top of the first inning, got three hits apiece from LOGAN WOOLRIDGE (two runs) and ZACH PATE. Urbana's JON TAUBER had two hits with two runs scored and CODY KEEFER drove in two.

Normal U-High 3, Rantoul 2. TANNER McLAIN and CORD CHURCH each had two hits for Rantoul.

Grant Park 5, Milford 4. CLAYTON RIECHES doubled, homered and drove in two runs for the Bearcats. JORDAN GULLQUIST and RYLEY WARD each had two hits.

St. Joseph-Ogden 4, Clifton Central 1. The Spartans got two hits apiece from HUNTER HART (three RBI) and BLAKE HOVELN (RBI) in support of winning pitcher TYLER McCORMICK, who struck out 10.

Girls' soccer

Danville 4, Monticello 4. ALLYSON HUFF and ELIZABETH KAPELLA each scored twice for the Vikings. Monticello's EMMA REINBOLD recorded a hat trick.

Normal U-High 3, Judah Christian 0. The Tribe's ERIN HUGGETT had nine saves.

Mahomet-Seymour 2, Urbana University 0. MORGAN DeHAAN assisted on goals scored by SARAH GARROW and MORGAN PAINTER.

Centennial 3, Decatur Eisenhower 0. GRACE AYODELE scored a goal and assisted on goals by KATELYNN MARTINEZ and ANNIE REGAN to lead the Chargers.

Boys' tennis

At Urbana. DENNIS CHIU, CORBIN ROSSET and the doubles team of CHARLIE ZHENG and MACIO ZELIP were all victorious for the host Tigers in a 6-3 loss to St. Teresa.

Track & field

At Urbana. The Danville girls edged Mattoon by a point in a triangular meet and got two wins apiece from ALEXUS JIMSON-MILLER (100 hurdles, 300 hurdles) and ARIONNA GRAHAM (100, long jump).

At Mahomet. The Mahomet-Seymour girls got two wins apiece from ALLISON MELCHI (triple jump, 400) and MORGAN YOUNG (shot put, discus) en route to winning a quadrangular with Champaign Central, Centennial and Rantoul. Central's SAMONE THOMPSON won the long jump, 100 hurdles and 200.

At Arthur. Host Arthur-Lovington won a girls' quad meet against Arcola, South Piatt and Villa Grove and got individual wins from COURTNEY YODER (triple jump), KARLY GOODMAN (shot put) and EMILY KAUFFMAN (discus). Arcola's ALEXIS CONLIN won the 800 and the 1,600 and Villa Grove's AMANDA McCOLLOM was a winner in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles.

Arcola's boys won thanks to wins from ALEX JOHNS (1,600), HECTOR SALINAS (high jump) and COREY ROBERTS. Villa Grove's RYAN PEARCE won the 100, shot put and discus and ADAM CRUTCHLEY got victories in the 800 and 3,200.

At Pontiac. Mahomet-Seymour's boys won the 3,200 relay, the distance medley relay, the hurdle relay and the 1,600 relay en route to winning the Pontiac relays against Providence Catholic, Prairie Central, Pontiac and Ottawa. DEREK BUNCH won the shot put.

At Charleston. Danville's boys beat the host Trojans and Rantoul and got two wins each from CIRRON CLARK (pole vault, triple jump) and JOSHUA ROBINSON.
