Sermak gets milestone victory

GEORGETOWN — Cameron Lee went 5 for 5 with three RBI, leading Oakwood to a 10-7 baseball victory against Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman on Wednesday and giving Comets coach Bob Sermak his 400th career win — all at the same school.

"It's never been about me," Sermak said. "It's been about the kids who have played for me, the coaches who have helped me and Oakwood baseball. I feel good about the accomplishment, but you can't do anything alone."

Jake England led off the game with a home run for the Comets, who collected 16 hits.

Korie Vire went 3 for 3 with two runs for the Buffaloes, who got a home run from Kyle Coburn.
