Tuesday's prep highlights: Fisher rolls in softball

In softball
Fisher 17, Tri-Point 0. Winning pitcher Kelcie Fredrickson helped her cause with two hits (triple) and three RBI for the visiting Bunnies in the five-inning game.  

Kalli Gosser (four runs, double, triple, three RBI), Rachel Tobeck (two doubles, three RBI) and Molly Fairfield (3 for 3, two runs, two RBI) paced Fisher’s offense.

“Our pitchers threw strikes, and the girls did a nice job defensively, which was impressive considering the cold and the wind,” Bunnies coach Ken Ingold said.  

In soccer

Mahomet-Seymour 3, W-L 1. Brianna Haney, Kayla Thompson and Natalie Fulk each scored for the host Bulldogs against Warrensburg-Latham.

Monticello 2, Decatur Lutheran 1. Emma Reinbold had two goals and Kelsey Karbach had one assist for the host Sages (2-1).
Monticello keeper  Elizabeth McGiles recorded eight saves.

In baseball
Casey-Westfield 10, Sullivan 4. Andy Brown (0-2) took the loss for the host Redskins (2-2), who had five hits.
