In baseball
St. Thomas More 3, Cissna Park 2. The visiting Sabers got two hits and an RBI from STORM JOOP. CAM DEEDRICH also drove in a run. WYATT FROEHLING had two hits for the Timberwolves.

Fieldcrest 5, LeRoy 0. BRYCE DOOLEY, RICKY VERMAAT and BRADY FRITCHER had hits in the loss.

Mahomet-Seymour 7, Prairie Central 3. JOE KENNEY belted a three-run homer in the first and CULLY DAY also drove in three runs to power the visiting Bulldogs. DALTON KERANS added two hits and an RBI. JOSH McWILLIAMS and JORDAN DUNAHEE each had two hits and an RBI for the Hawks.

BCC 6, Paxton-Buckley-Loda 4. AXL DENAULT had two hits and drove in three runs for the host Panthers, who led 4-3 after five innings. MARTIN MENNENGA (RBI) and JONATHON WALDER each added two hits.

Oakwood 5, Milford 4. The host Comets picked up the win and got a double and triple from DAVIN MILES. WYATT ALT, TANNER DAVENPORT and RYLEY WARD each had two hits for Milford.

Gardner-South Wilmington 5, Iroquois West 2. T.J. FOULKS and GABE RUSHBROOK each doubled and drove in a run for the visiting Raiders.

Bismarck-Henning 2, Georgetown-Ridge Farm 1. LUCAS BARHAM collected two hits and DYLAN COSAT tossed a three-hitter for the Buffaloes.

Watseka 17, St. Anne 2. AUSTIN BLAIR went 2 for 2 and drove in six runs, including a grand slam to power the visiting Warriors.

Westville 7, Hoopeston Area 5. TYLER DICKEN had two hits, drove in a pair of runs and pitched two innings to earn the save for the visiting Tigers. KYLE BRAZAS added two hits, two runs and an RBI. KENDALL WALDER drove in a pair of runs for the Cornjerkers.

St. Joseph-Ogden 12, Effingham St. Anthony 1. Winning pitcher HUNTER HART fired a one-hitter and struck out 10 in powering the visiting Spartans. At the plate, Hart collected three hits and drove in three runs. TYLER McCORMICK also drove in three runs for SJ-O.

Salt Fork 12, Armstrong-Potomac 0. ROSS LEARNARD and GARRETT McFADDEN each had three hits and drove in a pair of runs for the host Storm, which got a two-run homer from NOAH DARR. CONNOR TAYLOR struck out nine in firing a two-hit shutout.

Normal U-High 1, Rantoul 0. KOLTON VERMILLION went 3 for 3 for the visiting Eagles.

In softball
Oakwood 13, Milford 1. Winning pitcher BREANA WRIGHT collected three hits and NIKKI WEYH added two hits to power the host Comets. KATHLEEN TOWNSLEY and MADISON CARLTON drove in three runs apiece.

Gardner-South Wilmington 11, Iroquois West 0. KARRIE HEIDEMAN and TAILER KEISTER each had a hit and a stolen base for the visiting Raiders.

St. Thomas More 8, Urbana 4. The Sabers got two hits each from ALYSSA VODACEK, LAUREN CROFT and ALEX ROESSLER (two triples). Urbana got an inside-the-park homer from KELSEA BISHOP and two hits apiece from CHELSEA SKINNER, ELLEN BEVERLY, LEXI WHITE and SHELLY BROWN.

Westville 6, Hoopeston Area 0. KYLIE LESKO and CARSON RICHARDSON combined to throw a four-hit shutout to lead the host Tigers. Lesko (hit, run) and MORGAN GALLION each drove in a run.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm 5, Bismarck-Henning 1. The visiting Buffaloes got two hits and an RBI from CATIE BRANDT while MEGAN BURRIS drove in a pair of runs. Winning pitcher LEXI SILVER added a hit and drove in a run.

Arthur-Lovington 8, Cerro Gordo-Bement 3. ASHLEY TABB and KAITIE WILDMAN each had three hits to power the Lancers. KRISTIE KRIGBAUM, JOSIE ST. PIERRE and MOLLY LAWLER each had two hits in the loss.

Central A&M 5, Watseka 4. The visiting Warriors got two hits and two stolen bases from TAYLOR BAUER. KATIE McTAGGERT and HAYLEY GRAY each had a hit.

Villa Grove 7, Martinsville 1. Winning pitcher LIZZY SMITH (8-0) struck out 14 and surrendered two hits. BECKY BISHOP (two runs) and KELSEY DEES (RBI) each had three hits.

Rantoul 7-15, Prairie Central 6-4. KEEGAN JONES drove in three runs while KRISTYN GRAYILL and CARSON CHURCH each collected two RBI in Game 1. Prairie Central got three hits from JACKIE DUFFY. DIAMOND WALKER had two hits, two runs and drove in four in the nightcap. Church and TAYLOR EDGERTON each scored twice, had two hits and drove in a pair of runs.

In soccer
Champaign Central 0, Charleston 0. The Maroons got seven saves from ABBY MANASTER. Charleston had won all 12 games this season and scored at least two goals in each match.

Judah Christian 2, Olympia 1. The Tribe got two goals from KAITLYN DUCHIEN and 12 saves from ERIN HUGGETT.

St. Thomas More 5, Normal U-High 3. MICHAELA WARD scored two goals and assisted on another. LOUISETTE LUKUSA added a goal and two assists.

In tennis
At Champaign. MAX ZHENG, SUNNY SINGH, PETER KIM and ANDREW SCAGGS all picked up wins in singles and doubles for Centennial in a 6-3 win against O’Fallon.
