Normal West 12, Centennial 1. GREY SCHULTZ had a double and an RBI for the visiting Chargers (13-8, 4-3 Big 12), who committed four errors.

Central 12-19, Eisenhower 1-0. JAKE CRIBBETT was 6 for 6 with four doubles as the host Maroons (13-11, 3-2 Big 12) rolled to a pair of five-inning wins. LUKE BEESLEY homered in Game 1. CHARLIE DUE tossed a shutout and ALEC ALTMYER was 3 for 3 with four RBI in Game 2.

Urbana 4-3, Normal Community 3-8. KYLE ROSS had two hits, TANNER RUSSELL had an RBI and JONATHAN TAUBER pitched a complete game as the Tigers (6-12, 3-2 Big 12) rallied to win the opener.

Bloomington 4-12, Danville 0-8. Chuckie Robinson (home run), Tristan Wolfe and Chase Thurston each had two hits in Game 2 for the visiting Vikings.

Oakwood 5, Schlarman 4. CONOR JARLING drove in two runs and pitched six innings as the Comets won in nine innings. RYAN BOTT scored twice and EMILIO JOHNSON had a hit and an RBI for Oakwood.

St. Thomas More 7-13, Iroquois West 0-3. AUSTIN TABELING pitched a one-hitter, STORM JOOP had three RBI and SEAN SULLIVAN went 3 for 3 to lead the visiting Sabers in Game 1. CAM DEEDRICH and TRENT KUNAS added two hits each. Tabeling had two hits and two RBI in support of winning pitcher MIKE PLECKI (three-hitter) in Game 2. Plecki and LUC BEQUETTE each had two hits.

Clinton 13, GCMS 0. MASON DIAL went 3 for 3 and MARSHALL SPRAGUE and GREG OSGOOD each had two hits and two RBI for the host Maroons. COLTON REEVES scattered three hits.

At Kansas. In losses to Neoga (12-6) and Tri-County (3-0), Arcola’s JOSE TAMEZ homered and doubled.

El Paso-Gridley 7, Fisher 3. KYLE WILLIAMS had two hits and two RBI for the host Bunnies.

Watseka 11-17, Momence 1-1. CODY SCOTT homered and had three RBI in Game 1. CALEB PARKER hit a grand slam and BROCK MYERS and Scott each had two hits and four RBI in Game 2.

Cissna Park 12-17, Grace Baptist 1-4. ALEX RABE was 3 for 3 with three RBI in Game 1, and WYATT FROEHLING and COLE HASSELBRING each drove in three runs in Game 2.

LeRoy 3, Woodland-Flanagan 0. CHRIS REINHART pitched a complete-game four-hitter and ZACH POINDEXTER had two hits and a stolen base for the host Panthers.

Westville 8, Milford 5. TANNER COX had two hits, including a home run, KYLE BRAZAS had three RBI and TRISTAN FLYNN homered to lead the Tigers. ALEX PORTWOOD had two hits and two RBI in the loss.

Judah Christian 11-7, Springfield Calvary 0-6. DYLAN HAMILTON struck out 16 in a four-hitter and helped his Game 1 cause with three hits. BRENDAN BLACK added two hits and three RBI for the visiting Tribe. In Game 2, Hamilton had three hits and two RBI.

In softball
Fisher 5, El Paso-Gridley 4. LEAH WILLIAMS drove in KALLI GOSSER in the bottom of the seventh to lift the host Bunnies (9-6, 5-3 Heart of Illinois). Williams had two hits and two RBI. EMILEE SCHWING also had two hits.

Normal West 13-13, Centennial 3-1. The visiting Chargers got two hits from LEXI HALL and KRISTEN LEUCK (two RBI) in Game 1. Leuck had a hit and an RBI in Game 2.

Central 9-17, Eisenhower 6-7. MARINA TAYLOR had two RBI and winning pitcher SHIREEN HASSAN doubled twice for the host Maroons in Game 1. HANNAH YOUNG pitched a complete game and PEYTON LUESSE, BECCA CRISMAN and RENI NUGENT each had two RBI in Game 2.

Bloomington 12-9, Danville 4-8. In the opener, KRISTI BURGHART had two hits and two RBI and KATY AGUIRRE had two hits for Danville. In Game 2, MACKENZIE KING had two hits and two RBI for the Vikings, whose late-inning rally fell short. Burghart and KENNEDY RICHARDS also had two hits.

Blue Ridge 14-19, Cerro Gordo 6-10. JAMISON BRANDT had two hits, including a homer, and three RBI for the Knights in Game 1. MORGAN WOLIUNG had three hits and TAYLOR BUILTA had two hits and two RBI in the win. In Game 2, Builta was 5 for 5 with five RBI and Brandt had three hits, including a homer, and four RBI. MACKENZIE BECK went 4 for 4 with two RBI in the win. KRISTIE KRIGBAUM had five hits, including a home run, on the day for Cerro Gordo.

Momence 11-12, Watseka 4-10. KATIE McTAGGART had a home run and three RBI in Game 2 for the Warriors.

GCMS 10-5, Low Point-Washburn 0-6. AMBER WITTEMAN had two hits and two RBI and EMILY ELDER had a three-run triple to complement BREANNA WALKER’s two-hitter for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley in Game 1. Witteman had two hits and an RBI in Game 2.

At Porta. HALEY GINGER had three hits in every game as Clinton beat Liberty 7-2, Springfield Calvary 17-0 and Illini West 11-1 to win the Porta Slam Tournament. MORGAN HICKMAN hit two home runs and had eight RBI and MEGAN TOOL and HALEY TOOHILL also homered for the Maroons.

In soccer
At Danville. ASHLEY GREAZER scored three goals and HANNAH WELLS added two as First Baptist beat Community Baptist 7-0. In a 6-5 loss to Schaumburg, KIMMY MONTGOMERY had three goals and an assist.

In tennis
At Centennial. PATRICK KEARNEY and DANIEL O’BRIEN won the No. 3 doubles title and WILL SMALL and JEREMY YOON won at No. 4 to help Centennial Blue win the Charger Doubles Invitational. The Chargers placed second in the other two brackets: ISHVDEEP SINGH and MAX ZHENG (No. 1) and PETER KIM and ANDREW SCAGGS (No. 2). Uni High’s ALEX MESTRE and EDO ROTH won at No. 1.

At Edwardsville. St. Thomas More finished ninth in a 16-team event that was called after Friday’s matches due to rain.
