A-L 7, Martinsville 0. Winning pitcher Tyler Schuring struck out eight in six innings for host Arthur-Lovington, which got two hits from Noah Yantis and two RBI from Mason Lee.

PBL 8, Iroquois West 1. Jay Eshleman and Martin Mennenga each had three hits for host Paxton-Buckley-Loda (11-5), which got three RBI from Axl Denault. Gabe Rushbrook had three hits for the Raiders.

Monticello 4, A-O 1. Matt Crook (4-0) scattered three hits for the Sages against Argenta-Oreana.

G-RF/C 28, A-P 0. Dylan Cosat had seven strikeouts and Ethan Sliva drove in six runs for Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman against Armstrong-Potomac.

East Central 9, Villa Grove 4. Cole Bogle had four hits and two RBI for the visiting Panthers, who got three hits from Cole Graham and a two-run home run from John Taylor.
STM 5, Watseka 1. Michael Plecki went 2 for 3 with three RBI for host St. Thomas More, which received two hits and an RBI from Cameron Deedrich. The Warriors got two hits apiece from Austin Blair and Tyler LaVoie.

■ Charleston 7, Centennial 3. Anthony Martin was 2 for 3 with two RBI for the visiting Chargers (14-9).

Dee-Mack 18, LeRoy 5. Chris Reinhart had three hits, including a double, and an RBI for the host Panthers against Deer Creek-Mackinaw.

Cerro Gordo/Bement 10, Tri-County 0. Winning pitcher Cole Blickensderfer (2-1) struck out nine in five innings. Chase McNamara drove in two runs in the victory.

Danville 3, Urbana 0. Austin West and Brady Watkins (two RBI) each had two hits for the host Vikings.

Centennial 26, Urbana 1. Makena Brillhart (three runs) and Bekah Bamert (two runs) each went 3 for 5 with three RBI for the visiting Chargers (9-15, 5-2 Big 12), who got three hits and four runs from Katie Janson. Brianna Perry had three hits, two runs and two RBI in the victory.

Villa Grove 3-1, Heritage 0-2. Ali Stigers went 2 for 3 and drove in the game-winning run in the second game for the visiting Hawks, who handed the Blue Devils their first loss of the season. In the opener, Alix Ezell and Kelsey Dees each had an RBI for Villa Grove.  

STM 3, Watseka 2. Winning pitcher Leah Allison struck out 12 for St. Thomas More, which got two runs from Brooke Plotner. CJ Crook and Hayley Gray each had two hits for the Warriors.

A-L/A-H 3, Martinsville 2. ALEX MILLER had both Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond hits, drove in a run and stole four bases, including home. That was more than enough for KAITIE WILDMAN, who had 13 strikeouts in a complete-game three-hitter.

Olympia 1, M-S 0. Alie Tarrant struck out 14 and allowed one hit in her complete game for host Mahomet-Seymour. The winning run scored on a single and a throwing error.

Cerro Gordo/Bement 6, Shiloh 2. Sadie Sawyer went 2 for 3, including a triple, and drove in one run for the host Broncos, who got three hits and an RBI from Josie St. Pierre. Winning pitcher Elaina Wittmer struck out seven in seven innings. Tori Stierwalt doubled for the Raiders.

PBL 14, Iroquois West 6. Skylar Harris had two hits, two runs and two stolen bases for host Paxton-Buckley-Loda, which received three hits and two runs from Kirstin Schnabel. Sami Schoonover tripled and scored twice in the victory. The Raiders took a 6-2 lead, but the Panthers rallied for the victory. Iroquois West received two hits apiece from Kayleigh Wilken and Tailere Keister.

A-O 2, Fisher 0. Alex Stupek hit the go-ahead double in the eighth inning for visiting Argenta-Oreana. The Bunnies’ Megan McCoy struck out eight and allowed four hits.

■ Normal West 3, Rantoul 2. Hannah Cargo went 2 for 2 and scored a run for the host Eagles, who got seven strikeouts from pitcher Allison Jordahl.

Schlarman 7, Salt Fork 4. Sydne Bryant and Lexi Rangel (two RBI) each doubled for the host Hilltoppers, who got two RBI from Joslyn Dietzen. Winning pitcher Maria Rangel went the distance. Kayln Learnard doubled for the Storm.

Unity 7, Central A&M 1. Christie Lannon, Rachel Billman, Carsen Bolstad and Shelby Hildreth each drove in a run for the Rockets.

A-P 7, G-RF/C 6. Makenzie Vinson and Kirsten Newnum each went 4 for 6 for host Armstrong-Potomac. Vinson scored the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning. Tristyn Mingee went 2 for 4 and had two RBI for Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman, which got two hits from Brittany Hay. Johanna Bruens had two RBI in the victory, and Morgan Zindars struck out 10 batters for the second consecutive game.

Tri-Valley 5, Blue Ridge 0. Morgan Woliung allowed nine hits for the visiting Knights.

Westville 17-6, Oakwood 7-3. In Game 1, which lasted six innings, Ji’Cee Lacey had three RBI and two runs for the host Tigers, who got two runs and four RBI from Courtney Gabehart and two hits and three RBI from Kylie Lesko. Breana Wright had three hits, two runs and an RBI for the Comets. In Game 2, Lesko had 14 strikeouts and Lacey had two hits and an RBI. Abbagale Black doubled and had an RBI for Oakwood.

In girls’ soccer

STM 7, Athens 0. Lexi Wallen recorded her ninth shutout of the season for St. Thomas More (11-4-1), which scored all of its goals in the first 25 minutes of the road match.

In boys’ tennis

Central 9, Normal West 0. Champaign Central’s Austin Aten was victorious at No. 1 singles and teamed with Nikhil Thope to win at No. 2 doubles. Thope won 6-0, 6-0 in his No. 5 singles match.

Effingham St. Anthony 6, STM 3. Jesse Dankle and Colin Kelley each won singles and doubles matches for the host Sabers.

Centennial 8, Bloomington 1. Sunny Singh and Max Zheng won their singles and doubles matches for the Chargers.
