The Maroons scored all five of their runs in the top of the sixth to rally from a 4-0 deficit and emerge with a Big 12 road win. The Tigers — who committed six errors — had two hits, including a triple, and an RBI from KYLE ROSS and two hits, including a double, and two runs scored from DUSTIN LARD.

■ Manteno 16, Paxton-Buckley-Loda 4. AXL DENAULT drove in all four runs for the Panthers with a triple and a home run, but it was not enough for the Panthers in a five-inning home loss.

■ Mattoon 4, Centennial 2. The host Chargers fell behind 2-0 after the first inning, tied the game at 2-2 after the fourth inning, but single runs in the sixth and seventh by the Green Wave proved too much. JORDAN SEITZ went 2 for 3 with an RBI and GREY SCHULTZ added two hits for the Chargers (19-13).

■ Mount Zion 2, Danville 1. CHASE THURSTON went 2 for 3 with an RBI, but he was the hard-luck loser for the visiting Vikings (8-17) after he scattered six hits over six innings.

■ Rantoul 6, Charleston 3. LUKE PANNBACKER struck out six and threw a complete game for the host Eagles, which tallied two runs each in the third, fourth and sixth innings to earn the victory. TANNER McLAIN went 3 for 4 with three RBI to spark Rantoul’s offense.
