Centennial, junior, baseball

Recently: Pitched a complete-game four-hitter and drove in the winning run with a walkoff double in the bottom of the seventh of a 3-2 triumph over Normal West. For the week, he had six hits in 11 at-bats and drove in four runs. His season pitching record is 4-1.

In his own words: “It was good to have teammates who got on base to put me in that position.”

I’m driving ... a 2006 Honda Accord.

I need tickets to ... a Chicago Cubs game.

My favorite field is ... the one at Notre Dame.

My favorite professional team is the ... Chicago Cubs.

Before a game, I’m listening to ... country.

After a game, I’m eating ... at Billy Barooz.

My pet peeve is ... nothing.

In five years ... I’ll be pursuing my academic career and hopefully playing baseball in college.

In her own words: “The credit goes to the defense. They’ve done a good job of not letting much get through. They make my job easier, and this week I made all the saves.”

My pet peeve is ... when people don’t use their blinkers.

In five years ... I’ll be finishing my master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the UI.

Mahomet-Seymour High School has ... prepared me for my future and has given me a lot of opportunities that I wouldn’t have received elsewhere. It has helped me develop a lot of relationships.
