Falcons keep it rolling

GIBSONCITY – Casey Cline and Kendall Hornstein both had 11 points as Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley cruised to a 62-37 win against Deer Creek-Mackinaw on Friday.

The game was tied at 16 at the end of the first quarter, but GCMS held Dee-Mack to one second-quarter point to grab a 31-17 halftime lead.

Ten Falcons broke into the scoring column in the victory.

Fisher 60, Ridgeview 55. Cody Thomas had 15 points and Fisher rallied in the fourth quarter to pull out the Heart of Illinois road win.

Josh Petersen led the Mustangs with 12 points.

Tri-Valley 66, LeRoy 51. Mark Brent scored 15 points and Brent Alexander added 13 as the visiting Panthers dropped the Heart of Illinois game.
