TUSCOLA — Matt Franks is expected to be named the new boys’ basketball
coach today at Tuscola.
Franks, a 2000 Unity graduate, spent the last two seasons as the head
coach at Shelbyville directing the Rams to a 13-38 record. Prior to that,
Franks was a member of Jarrett Brown’s staff at Unity and was a part of
back-to-back regional championship teams in 2009 and 2010.
Franks replaces Paul Lehmann, who stepped down in March after two seasons
at Tuscola.
