Good times just starting to roll for Fisher

BISMARCK — After Thursday's 44-42 win against Salt Fork in the championship game of the Hayden's Athletic Classic, Fisher's players hoisted some hardware.

If coach Ron Ragle has his way, it won't be the last time the Bunnies add to their trophy case this season.

"This was a great win; it's nice to get the hardware. But we also said we didn't want this to be the high point of our season," Ragle said. "We're playing for postseason just like everybody else, and we want to be playing our best ball by then. We're just going to build on it from here and enjoy the night."

Dylan Chapman scored 14 points for the Bunnies, who got eight from Taw Fredrickson and seven from Hans Carmien.

"That's kind of the big three that's carried us all the way through this tournament," Ragle said.

Salt Fork, which had won the tournament each of the last four years, got 13 points from Cole Taylor and 12 from Max Stutsman.

"I think for playing a team that's a little older, a little more experienced than us, we really competed hard," Salt Fork coach Aaron Hird said.
