Friday's prep highlights: Fender, Larson show way for Rockets

Unity 51, Maroa-Forsyth 49. AUSTIN FENDER and AARON LARSON each scored 14 points for the visiting Rockets.

Rantoul 67, Eureka 44. TRAVIS BRITT led the way with 16 points and C.J. MORRIS added 15 to power the visiting Eagles.

Salt Fork 43, Westville 23. ROSS LEARNARD (12 points) and MAX STUTSMAN (10) led the Storm, which outscored Westville 24-12 in the second half. ROBERT ELLIOTT had seven points to lead the Tigers.

Shelbyville 46, Clinton 32. JACOB ROCKHOLD scored a team-high nine points for the visiting Maroons, who got two three-pointers and seven points from MITCHELL CREAGER.

Armstrong-Potomac 56, Hoopeston Area 47. SHAY FITZSIMMONS scored seven of his 14 points in the fourth quarter. LUKE GERNAND and D.J. DAVIS each had nine points. Hoopeston Area was led by MASON LAYDEN's 19 points.

St. Joseph-Ogden 52, Watseka 33. NATE MICHAEL made four three-pointers and scored 14 points to go with six rebounds to lead the visiting Spartans. CORBIN HESTERBERG had 10 points. Watseka got nine points from GABE DUBY.

Schlarman 46, Milford 36. The host Hilltoppers got 22 points from AUSTIN CALHOUN and eight from RONNIE SODERSTROM in the victory. Milford was led by JOSH KILLION's 19 points.

Arthur Okaw Christian 61, Danville First Baptist 40. The host Conquering Riders were led by BRYCE CASHNER's 19 points. ZANE BUMPUS (16 points) and MARK FROMAN (15) led First Baptist.

Bement 55, Lovington 36. TYCE RITTENHOUSE (16 points, nine rebounds), CONNOR GROSS (15 points, six steals) and JEREMY SAPP (10 points) led the Bulldogs.

Tremont 50, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 39. The host Falcons got 11 points apiece from JAKE JOHNSON and BEN EADS in a losing effort. SAM JOHNSON added nine.

Urbana University 55, Cornerstone Christian 47. TAHAR BOWEN-PINTO had 18 points and six rebounds for the host Illineks. ROBBIE McMILLAN (10 points, seven rebounds) and SIMEON WASHINGTON (nine points, six assists) also contributed.

Cerro Gordo 78, Villa Grove 45. Four Broncos reached double figures, led by TIM WEAVER's 18 points and AUSTIN CRIST's 17. DEVIN McWILLIAMS (12) and CODY WOOLLEN (10) also chipped in. LUCAS VANDEVENTER and RYAN PEARCE each scored 13 for host Villa Grove.

Urbana 66, Mattoon 48. DARRION BROWN had 22 points and six rebounds to lift the visiting Tigers. DONALD McKINLEY added 11 points and four rebounds.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm 68, Chrisman 41. RYAN DIEU scored 14 points to lead the visiting Buffaloes. KYLE COBURN contributed 14 points, and ANDY CRAVENS and KORIE VIRE each scored 12. Chrisman was led by CHRIS HOULT (21 points).

Fieldcrest 71, LeRoy 34. NICK AUPPERLE led the Panthers with 10 points.

Clifton Central 48, Iroquois West 46. KEATON ZIRKLE (16 points) and BEN WALL (13) led the way for the Raiders.

Bismarck-Henning 57, Oakwood 33. The visiting Blue Devils were led by KRYSTIAN INGRAM's 17 points and AUSTIN TOLER's 11. Oakwood got 13 points apiece from CAMERON LEE and KYLE ELLIOTT.

Okaw Valley 53, Shiloh 34. KALEB HOOD (nine points, six rebounds, three steals) and COLE BOGLE (eight points, three assists) shined for the host Raiders.

Arthur 52, Heritage 45. TYLER SCHURING (15 points) and CLAYTON HONN (10) led the visiting Knights. BRANDON RICHARDSON (14 points), KAETEN KALK (10) and JOHN TAYLOR (10) led the Hawks.

Central A&M 61, Monticello 56. RYAN DONOHUE led the visiting Sages with 19 points. NICK STOKOWSKI (12 rebounds)added 17.

Arcola 66, Martinsville 59. COREY ROBERTS and PEYTON CONLIN each scored 15 points to lift the host Purple Riders. MARTY THOMAS added 14, and BRETT LINDENMEYER had 12.

Meridian 79, Tuscola 48. Dustin Haake led the visiting Warriors with 15 points.

CPCI 58, St. Thomas More 49. JAYCEE HILLSMAN scored 14 points for the Sabers in the road loss.
