In boys' basketball

Monticello 57, Tuscola 38. RYAN DONOHUE (17 points, five rebounds, four steals) was one of three Sages to reach double figures in the road win. MATT KRUSE added 14 and NICK STOKOWSKI (nine rebounds) had 12 in coach KEVIN ROY's 100th career win.

Cornerstone Christian 59, Judah Christian 55. MALIK WILLIAMS' 18 points and eight steals weren't enough for the Tribe on the road. KRYS McCLURE added nine points and nine rebounds.

Shiloh 60, Lovington 46. COLE BOGLE poured in a game-high 30 points to go along with six assists to power the visiting Raiders. SKYLAR SMITH (seven points, nine rebounds, six blocks) and KALEB HOOD (14 points) also contributed.

Urbana University 66, Decatur Lutheran 65. Four Illineks scored in double figures, led by PATRICK WONG (15 points, five assists). JOSEPH SONG and TAHAR BOWEN-PINTO each scored 14 for host Uni.

Unity 61, Sullivan 49. TAYLOR BLACK led the way with 27 points and AARON LARSON added 19 to power the visiting Rockets. MICAH PLANK led the Redskins with 21 points.

Momence 75, St. Thomas More 65. JAYCEE HILLSMAN scored 15 points for the visiting Sabers in the loss. KEVIN CARROLL and CORTEZ KING each had 11.

Paxton-Buckley-Loda 26, CPCI 22. GAUGE SNIDER scored a game-high 12 points to lead the visiting Panthers. COLE HASSELBRING led CPCI with 10.

Arthur Okaw Christian 75, Wabash 47. ADAM BEACHY's 20 points led a balanced attack for the host Conquering Riders. AUSTIN HELMUTH and ISAIAH LOWRY scored 15 points apiece and WES HENNINGSEN added 12.

Arthur 64, Atwood-Hammond 40. CLAYTON HONN and CURTIS PLANK each had 14 points to lead the visiting Knights. TYLER SCHURING (13 points) and EVAN SEEGMILLER (11) also reached double figures. A-H got 10 points from ANDY WEBB.

Arcola 54, Villa Grove 44. BRETT LINDENMEYER poured in 19 points and COREY ROBERTS had 11 to lead the visiting Purple Riders. RYAN PEARCE led Villa Grove with 16 points.

Watseka 38, Clifton Central 36. DAULTON DePATIS (11 points) and DYLAN SCHULER (10) led the way for the visiting Warriors.

Maroa-Forsyth 50, Clinton 38. MITCHELL CREAGER scored 17 points for the host Maroons.

Warrensburg-Latham 64, Argenta-Oreana 59. The efforts of GAGE ELLER (20 points), GREGG BOOMER (14) and JESSE WITTS (10) weren't enough for the host Bombers.

DeLand-Weldon 63, Buckley Christ Lutheran 55. DEE WOODS (19 points), GARRETT DUFF (18) and JOHN BECKER (15) powered the visiting Eagles. Casey Schmidt had 28 points and 11 rebounds for BCL.

In girls' basketball

Judah Christian 39, Danville First Baptist 14. KRISTINA LEE (nine steals, nine rebounds) scored 23 points for the visiting Tribe and was the only player for either team to reach double figures.

Danville 46, Urbana 29. ALEXUS JIMSON-MILLER scored a game-high 17 points and J'LYNN AYERS added 13 to lead the visiting Vikings. JESSICA MACK led Urbana with eight points.

Buckley Christ Lutheran 37, DeLand-Weldon 28. OLIVIA JANSSEN had 15 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks to lead host BCL. MAGGIE RUSSELL contributed nine points and 15 boards.

Schlarman 54, Covington (Ind.) 30. LAURA GROSS delivered a triple-double (15 points, 14 rebounds, 10 blocks) in powering the visiting Hilltoppers. TANNA PETERSAK added 14 points and JANELLE MARION had 12.

St. Teresa 52, Monticello 51. TORI GADBURY and ELISE PONTIOUS each scored 12 points for the host Sages.

LeRoy 71, Heyworth 50. MOLLY MARCUM scored a game-high 34 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked four shots to power the Panthers to a win in the McLean County tournament quarterfinal at Lexington. ASHLEY WALKER contributed 19 points.

Fieldcrest 47, Ridgeview 41. MEGAN JONES' 18 points weren't enough for the Mustangs in another quarterfinal.

In wrestling

At Fairbury. Prairie Central picked up a win against Clifton central, thanks to pinfall victories by BRANDON ALLSUP, TYLER BERGSTRAHL, ANDREW SCHULER, JOHN KUPFERSCHMID and BRETT BENNETT.

At Bismarck. JACOB CARTER, DAVIN HUBER, ZACH MARTIN, JACOB SHEPARD and TYLER ROCKWELL all pinned their opponents in leading Bismarck-Henning to a 41-31 win against St. Joseph-Ogden.

At Monticello. Centennial beat the Sages 39-30 behind pins from NICHOLAS SCHRIEFER, ARCHIE WILLIAMS, AUSTEN SCHOTT and DARREN WYNN.

At Danville. CHET McCLURE, STAN RINEHART and DYLAN DONNER all won by major decision for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley/Fisher in a 50-18 win against Danville.

At Westville. Westville/Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Salt Fork got pinfall wins from TYSON DIGBY, TYLER DICKEN and TRAE FORD in a win against Oakwood.

In swimming/diving

At Champaign. GABE OMO-OSAGIE (100 freestyle) and THOMAS MUELLER, LOGAN STARKS (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle), LUIS TIAN (diving) and BLAS GARCIA-CANGA (100 breaststroke) all picked up individual wins for Centennial in a victory against Danville.
