Saturday's prep highlights: Judah tops Unity
In boys' basketball
Judah Christian 62, Unity 49. Dylan Hamilton had 14 points and Ethan Chitty contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds for the visiting Tribe, who got 11 boards from Nick Berger. The Rockets got 15 points apiece from Mitch Negangard and Zack Thorson.
DeLand-Weldon 43, BCL 19. Dylan Johnson had a game-high 16 points in the victory. Jacob Lessman tallied nine points for host Buckley Christ Lutheran. Dee Woods had a double-double (12 points, 16 rebounds) for D-W.
Watseka Holiday Tournament
Watseka 61, Iroquois West 52. Daulton DePatis and Jake Lyznicki led the Warriors with 18 points and 16 points, respectively. Keaton Zirkle had 20 for the Raiders.
Tri-Point 61, Iroquois West 41. TJ Foulks had 10 points for the Raiders.
Schlarman 65, Hoopeston Area 37. Austin Calhoun led the Hilltoppers with 24 points. The Cornjerkers got 13 points from Brennan Crose.
Schlarman 55, Watseka 49. Andrew Kelley paced the Hilltoppers with 19 points and Calhoun added 16. The Warriors got 15 points from Lyznicki and 14 from Gabe Duby.
Milford 79, Beecher 74. Josh Killion scored a game-high 28 points for the Bearcats, who received 21 points from Alex Portwood.
Bishop McNamara 74, Milford 42. Portwood had 20 points in the loss. McNamara’s Tyshon Willis broke the tournament record for most points in a game with 33.
Tri-County 61, La Salette 50. Wyatt Flesner led three Titans in double figures with 18 points. Tri-County got 15 points apiece from Luke Clapp and Wes Motley. Motley and Flesner each grabbed six boards. Preston Garno scored a game-high 25 points in the loss.
Salt Fork 43, Heritage 39. Ross Learnard scored a game-high 23 points for the Storm. The Hawks got 13 points from Austin Dickey.
Shiloh 70, Arthur Okaw Christian 67. Cyrus Furgeson had 18 points and Cole Bogle 16 for the Raiders. Adam Beachy scored a game-high 23 points for AOC.

Judah Classic Tournament
Tri-County 54, Judah 26. The Titans, who won the tournament title, got a game-high 14 points from all-tourney pick Amber Meyer. The Tribe received 11 points apiece from all-tourney pick Leslee Chambers and Alex Grady. All-tournament pick Autumn Meyer was the MVP.
Schlarman 60, Chrisman 28. All-tourney pick Janelle Marion had 17 points for the Hilltoppers. All-tourney selection Shelby Warner led the Cardinals with nine points.
Tri-County 52, Chrisman 23. Ami Meyer led the Titans with 11 points. The Cardinals got six points apiece from Warner and Melissa Pickett.
Schlarman 68, Judah 39. Marion led the Hilltoppers’ balanced scoring with 19 points. Sydne Bryant and Holly Huckstadt (six three-pointers) each scored 18 points. Kristina Lee paced the Tribe with 17 points.
STM 73, Unity 22. Randa Harshbarger had a double-double (16 points, 13 rebounds) to lead host St. Thomas More (11-1). Lexi Wallen scored a game-high 23 points, including 20 in the first half for the Sabers, who got 12 points from Erica Wallen. The Rockets received eight points from Kennedy Hartman.
Champaign Central 59, Urbana 32. Laura Litchfield had a game-high 23 points and eight assists for the host Maroons (8-3, 4-1 Big 12). The Tigers received 12 points from Karidia Shelby.
SJ-O 47, Prairie Central 46. Bailey Trimble and Ashley Landis had 19 points and 15 points, respectively, to lead host St. Joseph-Ogden. Landis also contributed 12 rebounds. The Hawks received 19 points from Laura Crane.
Ridgeview 54, Iroquois West 50. Paige Jones poured in a game-high 28 points for the host Mustangs. The Raiders received 12 points apiece from Andrea Fuoss, Taylor Cultra and Karrie Heideman.
LeRoy 49, Urbana Uni 30. Lauren Russell led the host Panthers with 24 points. The Illineks got a double-double from Emma Hoyer (14 points, 13 rebounds).
Fisher 45, Paxton-Buckley-Loda 37. Caitlin Cole scored 12 points to pace the visiting Bunnies.
At Springfield. Kolton Taylor (113 pounds) finished first in his weight class, leading Mahomet-Seymour to fourth place at the Joe Bee Memorial.
Centennial, which finished eighth, was led by Darren Wynn, who won the 138-pound title. Urbana’s Cameron Mammen was the champion at 170.
At Tolono. Austin Hedrick (152) and Austin Upton (170) won by pin in their title matches for St. Joseph-Ogden, which placed third at the Unity Invitational. Hoopeston Area’s Ethan Linder (285) won by pinfall in his title match.
At Erie. Zach Whitsel (120), Nate Jozsa (132) and Rob Lane (145) won their title bouts by decision to help lead Argenta-Oreana to second place.
At Metamora. Danville’s Javeonte Crider (113) won his title by pin in 34 seconds at the Metamora Invitational. Champaign Central, which placed ninth, received second-place finishes from Jack Rossi (138) and Toby Rivera (195).
At Clinton. LeRoy’s Alex Matlock (106), Tyler Walsh (113), Austin Matlock (126) and Ty Sandy (220) won crowns at the Clinton Invitational, leading the Panthers to second place.
