In girls’ basketball
Quincy Notre Dame 47, Centennial 43. Chantal Meacham scored a team-high 11 points for the host Chargers, who led 17-15 at halftime. Centennial, which was ranked sixth in the Class 3A preseason poll, was outscored 16-11 in the third quarter by Quincy Notre Dame (10-0), which was ranked second in the preseason poll.
In boys’ basketball
Monticello 57, Tri-Valley 40. Nick Stokowski had a game-high 24 points and nine rebounds for the visiting Sages (6-1), who received 18 points from Matt Kruse and 11 assists and three blocks from Bryan Phipps. Monticello, which led 30-28 at intermission, held the Vikings scoreless in the third quarter.
Villa Grove 63, Urbana Uni 54. Gabe Palmer and Brandon Koeberlein each scored 15 points for the host Blue Devils, who led 22-2 after the first quarter and 28-10 at halftime. Lucas Vandeventer chipped in 13 points and Gilbert Nieto added 12 in the victory. The Illineks received a game-high 26 points from George Voulgaris and 14 from Patrick Wong. Voulgaris led Urbana Uni with eight rebounds, and Wong had four assists. Tarik Koric contributed three assists, four rebounds and eight points for the Illineks.
B-H 57, Milford 29. Austin Toler scored a game-high 20 points for host Bismarck-Henning, which outscored the Bearcats 17-5 in the third quarter. Milford was led by Jeff Cann, who scored 10 points.
Lexington 44, Ridgeview 42. Cory Winterland had 13 points and Trey McCormick added 12 for the visiting Mustangs, who rallied from a 34-27 deficit after three quarters.
Fieldcrest 72, Blue Ridge 71. Michael Plunk scored 19 points to lead a balanced attack for the host Knights, who got 15 points from Will Duggins, 12 points from Clint O’Neal and 11 points from Mark Plunk. After Duggins made a layup with eight seconds left, Fieldcrest’s Brady Sanders hit a three-pointer at the buzzer. “Sanders is an all-state player who made an all-state play,” Blue Ridge coach Kyle Watson said.
St. Anne 69, Iroquois West 36. Wesley Grant led the Raiders with eight points. Keaton Zirkle grabbed seven boards in the loss.

St. Teresa 59, A-O 32. Keegan McHood scored a game-high 20 points for Argenta-Oreana, which trailed 31-20 at halftime.
Cerro Gordo 82, Okaw Valley 64. Nathan Lovekamp led three Broncos in double figures with a game-high 25 points. Cole Blickensderfer added 15 and Cole Tenney 14 for Cerro Gordo, which led 42-23 at halftime.
Riverton 73, Bement 33. Connor Gross scored a team-high 20 points for the Bulldogs.
