In boys’ basketball
Class 1A Regionals
■ Chrisman 46, Milford 39. Ty Bolen poured in a game-high 22 points for the host Cardinals. The Bearcats were led by Jeff Cann (13 points) and Alex Portwood (12 points).
■ Schlarman 55, Tri-County 47. Austin Calhoun and Andrew Kelley each scored a game-high-tying 20 points for the third-seeded Hilltoppers at Chrisman. Wes Motley led three Titans in double figures with 15 points. Wyatt Flesner added 13 and Luke Clapp 11 in the loss. Motley had 12 rebounds, and Flesner grabbed 11 boards. Clapp recorded five assists.
■ Iroquois West 55, Gardner-South Wilmington 44. Keaton Zirkle scored a game-high 25 points for the host Raiders, who are seeded third.
■ Tri-Point 68, Buckley Christ Lutheran 26. Slater Scheurich had a game-high 17 points in the loss at Gilman.
■ Bloomington Cornerstone 68, Blue Ridge 55. Michael Plunk scored a game-high 19 points for the third-seeded Knights, who were outscored 18-10 in the third quarter at Colfax. Clint O’Neal added 11 points in the loss.
■ Cerro Gordo 54, Bement 49. Nathan Lovekamp (13 points) and Cole Tenney (12 points) paced the Broncos, who led 25-23 at halftime in Arcola in a game that was postponed Monday night because of a power outage. The Bulldogs received a game-high 23 points from Connor Gross. Steve Isbell added 12 points and CJ Somers 10 in the loss.
■ Sangamon Valley 62, DeLand-Weldon 49. Dee Woods scored a game-high 22 points for the Eagles, who received 15 points from Johnny Becker at Decatur.
■ Danville 72, Rantoul 49. Steven Williams and Devyn McGuire each scored a game-high-tying 14 points for the visiting Vikings, who led 32-11 at intermission. The Eagles received 14 points from Johnny Jones and 10 from Tom Wood.
■ M-S 56, Pontiac 52. Matt Turner had a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds for the host Bulldogs, who received 12 points apiece from Sam Hohlfelder and Connor Diedrich.
Dual-Team State Sectionals
■ At Heyworth. Lane Lindstrom (182 pounds), Austin Craig (195) and Ty Sandy (220) each won by pinfall, leading LeRoy to a 45-18 victory against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley/Fisher.
With the victory, the Panthers advanced to the Elite Eight on Saturday at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.
The Falcons’ Chet McClure (138) won by pin.
■ At Robinson. The Sages lost 37-27 to Litchfield.
In girls’ basketball
■ AOC 43, Normal Calvary 36. Hanna Erwin had 17 points and five assists for visiting Arthur Okaw Christian.
