Teams of the Week: Fisher boys' hoops in spotlight

Fisher boys’ basketball

Grant Pointer’s basket with less than a second to play lifted the Bunnies (5-9) to a victory against Villa Grove/Heritage. Pointer was among three Fisher players to score in double figures.

Unity boys’ basketball

The Rockets (4-5) built a double-digit halftime lead and then held on to hand Bismarck-Henning its first loss in 14 games. Josh Larson had 20 points and six rebounds in the one-point triumph.

Bismarck-Henning girls’ basketball

The Blue Devils (10-7) improved to 2-1 in games decided by two points, rallying in the final quarter to edge Paxton-Buckley-Loda. Junior Brooke Walsh led the way with 14 points.

Villa Grove/Heritage boys’ basketball

The Hawks (8-9) rebounded from the loss at Fisher to edge Windsor in a game played on the Indiana Pacers’ court. Seven players scored points, led by Chance Lemmon with 22.
