Recently: Won three games in five days to capture the Catlin 1A Regional crown. Stutsman had 66 points for the week, including a season-high 31 in the title game against Milford.

In his own words: “I feel we’ve played our best in the last couple weeks. Cissna Park (regional semis) was our best overall game, and Milford (regional finals) was another great game. We’ve emphasized playing tough on defense.”

In five years ... I hope to be part of a marketing department with a sports team.

Recently: Hit 5 of 7 shots in both games at state (including 2 of 3 three-pointers each game) to help the top-ranked Sabers win the Class 2A state title and set a school record for single-season wins, 33.

In her own words: “Knowing last year’s outcome (state runner-up finish) pushed me to work harder and make sure the team was more ready. We were more determined. Our hard work paid off, and everything fell into place.”

In five years ... I’ll be graduating from college and hopefully beginning a new job in physical therapy.
