Recently: Scored 17 points in a regional semifinal win against Mahomet-Seymour and nine in a Class 3A championship-game win against top-seeded Centennial.

In his own words: “That was one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was so alive. Coach was on us in practice. He told us, ‘This is for the city.’ ”

I sent my last text to ... my girlfriend, Lexi Schweighart.

I’m driving ... a Chrysler 300M.

I need tickets to ... Miami Heat vs. the Indiana Pacers in Indiana.

Toughest opponent I’ve guarded ... Riley LaChance, Brookfield, Wis.

My favorite team is the ... Miami Heat.

Before a game, I’m listening to ... Lil Durk, Lil J and Swagg.

After a game, I’m eating ... ribeye from Texas Roadhouse.

My pet peeve is ... when someone is not working as hard as I am.

In five years ... Playing basketball in college

Central High School has ... a great atmosphere with a wonderful tradition. The fans and teachers always show you love.

Recently: Won the 60-meter dash in each of her first four indoor meets. At Monday’s Big 12 Conference meet, she had the quickest qualifying time (7.84 seconds) and followed up with a season-best 7.82 in the finals. She also won the 200 meters and anchored the winning 800 relay foursome.

In her own words: “I love the race because it’s so quick. I’d prepared well and was ready to run.”

My favorite track ... At the University of Texas

My favorite team is ... Team USA track and field.

Before a game, I’m listening to ... nothing. I like to sleep before a race.

After a game, I’m eating ... pizza or a sub sandwich.

My pet peeve is ... someone talking over my food when I’m eating.

In five years ... I’ll be running track at a D-I school and hoping to run in the Olympics.
