1. Champaign Central 20-9 (4): Tim Finke and the Maroons narrowly missed on advancing to a Class 3A sectional final, falling to Springfield Lanphier in double overtime.2. Danville 26-3 (1): A promising season for the Vikings came to a screeching halt in a Class 4A regional final, with a sick Kendle Moore unable to go big for Danville.

3. Monticello 25-2 (2): Calvin Fisher and the Sages were bowled over by Bloomington Central Catholic in a Class 2A sectional title game to end a mostly dominant campaign.

4. St. Joseph-Ogden 26-4 (3): Jordan Brooks and the Spartans just couldn't get over a Monticello-shaped hump in a Class 2A sectional semifinal but had an overall solid season.

5. Mahomet-Seymour 21-11 (7): Cory Noe and the Bulldogs stayed close in a Class 3A sectional semifinal setback against Springfield Southeast, the eventual state runner-up to end their year.

6. GCMS 25-4 (5): Ryland Holt and the Falcons got a bit unlucky having to face Monticello in a Class 2A regional final and ultimately fell short by just two points.

7. Judah Christian 25-5 (—): A historic season for Cade Chitty and the Tribe saw the program's first postseason hardware come home before a Class 1A sectional semifinal defeat.

8. Ridgeview 27-5 (—): Justin Myers and the Mustangs climbed to a Class 1A super-sectional but suffered from offensive woes in ending the year one win short of state.

9. La Salette 24-6 (10): Joel Adese and the Lions roared to third place in the NCSAA national tournament's second division to cap a run filled with good local victories.

10. Unity 15-9 (6): A late-season injury to J.T. Wheeler did no favors for the Rockets, who stumbled down the stretch and fell in a Class 3A regional semifinal tilt.
