Champaign Central 1, Hoopeston Area/Bismarck-Henning 0. EMMANUEL KOMBA scored from KANYE SAYON in the first half for the Maroons.

Unity 4, Sullivan-Lovington 1. LOGAN CUNNINGHAM scored twice as the Rockets rolled. BEN WINN and NOAH WINN also scored.

Clifton Central 2, Iroquois West 1. FRANKIE VEGA scored in the 53rd minute for Iroquois West.

St. Joseph-Ogden 1, St. Thomas More 0. Scoreless through two overtimes, the match was decided on the second round of a shootout, 3-2 in the Spartans' favor. NICK KNEER, ARIC PELAFAS and COLE JOHNSON scored in the second shootout for SJ-O.

Fisher/GCMS 6, Salt Fork/Westville 1. JORDAN SIZEMORE had five goals for the winners.

In girls' golf

At Gibson City. KATIE SPANGLER and REGAN ROMSHEK each shot 38 to lead Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (155) past Tri-Valley. EMILY SPANGLER fired a 39.

At Hoopeston. Hoopeston Area's MEGAN GRIMES fired a 48 at Hubbard Trail in the Cornjerkers' loss to Iroquois West.

In boys' golf

At Gibson City. CHRISTOPHER WITTEMAN shot 46 to place third as GCMS defeated Flanagan and lost to Tri-Valley at Railside.

At Hoopeston. STEPHEN KROUT's 36 was good for medalist honors as Bismarck-Henning (161) defeated Iroquois West and Hoopeston Area.

At Urbana. St. Thomas More compiled a 143 total at Stone Creek, led by JOSH KULAS' 34 and MATTHEW TATE's 35, to defeat Monticello.

In volleyball

At Tuscola. KARA WILLIAMS had three kills and three blocks to help Tuscola cruise past Villa Grove 25-11, 25-13. SAM KOHLBECKER chipped in three aces and 10 assists.

At Paxton. Centennial beat Paxton-Buckley-Loda behind nine kills and three aces from KARA JOHNSON. MADDIE WELDON added eight assists and LAUREN CLOYD four kills. KAYLA COWAN had four aces for the Panthers.

At Ridgeview. MEGAN JONES collected eight kills and HALLIE JOHNSON dished out 14 assists to lead Ridgeview past Roanoke Benson 25-16, 25-22.

At Atwood. HANNAH MILLINGTON (six kills, four aces) and ALEXA JONES (four blocks) led Argenta-Oreana to a 25-15, 25-8 victory against Atwood-Hammond.

At St. Anne. HALEY PENCE had eight kills in Iroquois West's 25-16, 25-16 loss to St. Anne.

At Bismarck. Bismarck-Henning got six kills from SAMANTHA SIDDENS in a 25-15, 25-10 victory against GCMS. BAILEY BRYANT chipped in four kills and four blocks.

At Bement. TAYLOR WEGRICH had eight kills and SABRINA HINTON added six blocks in Bement's 24-26, 25-23, 25-15 loss to Judah Christian.

At Arcola. Arcola dropped a 25-20, 18-25, 25-22 decision against Sullivan despite six kills from CARA EDWARDS.
