Monday's highlights: Hansen solves Baillon

In girls' tennis:

At Champaign. ALLISON HANSEN rallied to upend St. Thomas More's MADIE BAILLON 2-6, 6-3, 10-8 at No. 1 singles in Centennial's 9-0 victory against the Sabers. The third set was played as a 10-point tiebreak. Hansen's victory avenged several recent defeats against Baillon, including the final of last year's sectional.

In soccer:

Monticello 3, Olympia 0. ELI SMITH scored twice as the Sages improved to 8-2. JACOB HANSELMAN added a second-half goal from LUKE HANSELMAN.

Beecher 5, Watseka 0. Warriors keeper BEN GALDERIO made 13 saves.

Unity 1, Decatur St. Teresa 0. LOGAN CUNNINGHAM scored his 13th goal of the season and keeper RYAN REITMEIER made it stand up.

Oakwood 0, St. Joseph-Ogden 0. Oakwood keeper WESLEY DAY made 10 saves, while St. Joseph-Ogden's KYLE ROEDL had four.

Urbana 1, Champaign Central 1. EMANUEL KOMBA scored his seventh goal of the season as Central earned a tie against visiting Urbana.

In girls' golf:

At Savoy. JANICE CHOO led Champaign Central with a 50 in the Maroons' 205-224 loss to Charleston.

In boys' golf:

At Savoy. CHRISTIAN KHACHATURIAN shot 1-over-par 37 and PETER BLACK and GREY SCHULTZ added 39s as Centennial (157) defeated Rantoul (179) on the UI Orange. BROCK PEAVLER had a 39 for the Eagles.

At Sheldon. CLARK FINK shot 44 in Iroquois West's 2-stroke defeat to Donovan at Shewami Country Club.

At St. Elmo. Sullivan (168) knocked off Altamont and Arcola behind a 39 from BRYCE MILLER at St. Elmo Country Club.

At Dwight. CHRISTOPHER WITTEMAN fired a 46 as GCMS lost to Dwight and Woodland.

In volleyball

At Decatur. HANNAH JOHLAS had four kills and EMMA HOYER added three blocks in Urbana Uni's 25-19, 25-19 victory against Decatur Christian.

At Champaign. MEGAN CASAGRANDE had nine kills and SHANNON SIUTS handed out 16 assists to go with three aces in St. Thomas More's 25-10, 25-17 victory against Unity.

At St. Joseph. St. Joseph-Ogden, powered by EMILY GRISWELL's 19 assists and four aces, beat Oakwood 25-9, 25-10. JOSEY FRUHLING chipped in six kills and three blocks.

At Fisher. JESSICA ALLHANDS collected 11 kills and four aces to lead Watseka to a 25-12, 25-20 win against Fisher.

At Herscher. DANA SILSKI's eight kills and MARIA WILKENING's 16 assists led CPCI in an 18-25, 25-15, 25-14 loss to Herscher. NATALIE NEUKOMM paced the Timberwolves' defense with 18 digs.

At Casey. Tri-County got 10 kills from LIZZY BARNARD in a 25-11, 25-23 victory against Casey-Westfield. AMBER MEYER had 19 assists.

At Gilman. Iroquois West defeated Kankakee Grace Baptist 25-13, 25-20 as HALEY PENCE had seven kills, seven digs and four blocks. MORGAN SMALL had five kills.

At Gibson City. JORDYN NETTLETON's seven kills propelled Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley to a 26-24, 25-18 victory against Clifton Central. ERICA BAILLIE had 17 assists.

At Moweaqua. TAYLOR EDWARDS had seven kills in Arcola's 25-13, 27-25 loss to Central A&M.

At Paxton. Paxton-Buckley-Loda defeated Armstrong-Potomac 25-10, 25-11. ERIKA SIEBERNS had two blocks for the Trojans.

At Cayuga, Ind. LAURA GROSS had 14 kills and ISABELA DIAS collected 20 digs to lead Schlarman past North Vermillion (Ind.) 25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 25-12.
