– LONNIE BARNES' second-half goal – his second of the match – lifted Centennial to a 2-2 tie against host Hoopeston Area. ANDY DRACKLEY finished with nine saves for the Chargers. BROCK RAMOS and MATT BENJAMIN scored for the Cornjerkers.

– JACOB HANSELMAN's hat trick and JOSH SCHUMACHER's five saves led Monticello in a 6-0 win against visiting St. Joseph-Ogden.

– JONATHAN MALONE scored twice and assisted on two goals for Blue Ridge in a 4-0 victory against visiting Heyworth.

– COLBY BARHAM scored a first-half goal on an assist from ARIEL GARCIA, but Iroquois West couldn't hold the lead in a 1-1 tie against visiting Reed-Custer.

– Oakwood won 7-1 against visiting Watseka behind ZACH CARNAHAN's hat trick. KEGAN DECKER had two goals and an assist, while teammate LOGAN CRONK had a goal and two assists. SENAD ZEJNELI tallied the Warriors' lone goal.

– GABE VENEGAS scored a pair of goals for Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley in a 5-2 win against visiting Judah Christian. JORDAN SIZEMORE added a goal and an assist for Fisher/GCMS. JONATHAN ELARDO scored a goal and assisted on another for the Tribe.

– BEN WINN and GINO GIANNETTI scored for Unity in a 3-2 loss to St. Teresa.


– CHARLOTTE GOSS shot a double eagle 2 on the sixth hole at Lake of the Woods Golf Course in Mahomet, highlighting a par 36 that lifted Mahomet-Seymour to a 9-stroke victory in a four-team tournament. Goss, who won medalist honors by 4 strokes, hit her second shot on No. 6 out of the rough about 145 yards from the hole.

– SIERRA MYERSCOUGH shot a 5-under-par 42 to lead St. Thomas More to a 183-201 victory against Centennial in Savoy. LIZZY DOMBROSKI of the Chargers earned medalist honors with a 39.

– NICK BERGER of Judah Christian and BEN HARNED of Villa Grove shared medalist honors with 40s in a dual meet the Blue Devils won 179-180 at Lake of the Woods in Mahomet. RYAN ERHARD of the Tribe trailed the co-champs by 1 shot.

– ZACH GUENETTE fired a 42 to lead Watseka to a 183-207 victory against Westville at Harrison Park. CHASE HENRY was the Tigers' low scorer with a 49.

– JANE CHOO finished fourth overall and was Champaign Central's low scorer in a 189-239 loss to Bloomington in Savoy.

– KLINTON SMITH and SHANE IRBY of CPCI finished in a four-way tie for second place with 45s in Momence.

– ETHAN McPHERSON earned medalist honors with a 37 to lead Prairie Central to a 163-196 win against host Lexington at El Paso Golf Club. KYLER HOFFMAN finished second for Prairie Central, carding a 38.


– MAKENZIE BAKER had four kills and three service aces for Oakwood in a 25-11, 25-19 loss to visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda.

– MALLORY QUINN had six kills, three service aces and three assists, leading Buckley Christ Lutheran to a 25-22, 25-17 victory against Grace Baptist at Kankakee.

– JENNI ROMACK totaled nine kills and 11 digs for Bement in a 25-19, 26-24 victory against visiting DeLand-Weldon. SARAH O'BRIEN contributed nine assists and KAYLA WILMAS three service aces in the win.

– JACY COCHRAN had 12 service aces for Fisher in two wins in the Timberwolf Tip-Off. The Bunnies defeated Tri-Point 25-12, 25-11 and Armstrong-Potomac 25-8, 25-17.


– ALLISON HANSEN, MARIA MEARS, MICHAELA KEARNEY and SANJANA ANIL won singles and doubles matches in Centennial's 7-2 win against Bloomington.
