Recently: Chosen to the all-tournament team after helping Central win all five of its matches and team honors in Mahomet-Seymour's 16-school invitational.

In her own words: "At the beginning of the year, we all made a goal and that was to get to state. We set it high, but we're working hard to get there."

I'm always texting ... my friends Mia, Sarah, Lauren and Libby.

I'm dying to see ... "Breaking Dawn Part II."

I'm driving a ... Nissan Sentra.

I need concert tickets to ... Rascal Flatts or Tim McGraw.

In five years ... I want to be a nurse.

My first job was ... working for Mom, cleaning apartments.

My favorite gym to play volleyball in is ... at home. I like the atmosphere.

My favorite volleyball player is ... I like Misty May and Kerri Walsh.

Champaign Central is ... very energetic.

Recently: Won Saturday's Lee Halberg Invitational in Springfield by more than 2 1/2 seconds. His 3-mile time of 15 minutes, 24 seconds was the area's best this season.

In his own words: "I put in a lot of miles over the summer, about 70 a week."

My favorite place to run is ... Lake of the Woods.

My favorite prerace meal is ... oatmeal and coffee.

My favorite postrace meal is ... McDonald's.

In five years ... hopefully I'll be finishing up with a degree in criminal justice.
