In volleyball

Centennial 2, Danville 0. The host Chargers picked up a 25-12, 25-10 victory behind eight kills from ALLIE SHANNON, five kills from LAUREN CLOYD and nine assists from PAULINA NOTTINGHAM.

Champaign Central 2, Bloomington 1. JAELYN WESTFIELD (16 kills), MADDIE LeGRANDE (12 kills) and MIA McDONALD (41 assists) led the host Maroons to a 25-21, 21-25, 26-24 win. KATIE SLONIGER added 11 digs.

Bement 2, Okaw Valley 0. SABRINA HINTON (two kills, five aces, five digs), TAYLOR WEGRICH (four kills, nine digs) and ABBY TROTT (eight digs, 10 assists) led Bement to a 25-11, 25-7 win. ANNA HENDRIX added four kills, two aces and three digs, while MADDIE MANN had five kills.

Bismarck-Henning 2, Oakwood 0. LAUREN McKENZIE (nine aces) and TAYLOR ELLIS each had 11 assists to lead the host Blue Devils to a 25-9, 25-10 victory. ABBY BERGMAN added five kills and four blocks while BRITTANY SPICER had six kills.

Tuscola 2, Argenta-Oreana 0. MACK SEIP had 14 kills, 12 digs and two blocks in powering the visiting Warriors to a 25-14, 25-23 win. BROOKE LITTLE added five kills and MORGAN LITTLE had 22 assists.

Fisher 2, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 0. GINA MASKO had five kills and OLIVIA HEFFERNAN added five assists for the host Bunnies in a 25-19, 25-14 win.

Tri-County 2, Arthur-Lovington 0. LIZZY BARNARD (10 kills), AMBER MEYER (25 assists), AUTUMN MEYER (19 digs) and KYLA SKINNER (five aces) powered visiting Tri-County to a 25-12, 25-11 victory. A-L got five kills from KARLY GOODMAN.

Chrisman 2, Georgetown-Ridge Farm 0. KELSEY POTTER's three kills, three digs and two service aces led the visiting Cardinals in 25-13, 25-8 victory. BRETT BISHOP (three blocks, four kills) and BRIDGET MATTINGLY (seven assists, six digs) also contributed.

Cissna Park 2, Judah Christian 0. MARIA WILKENING's 18 assists led the visiting Timberwolves to a 25-14, 25-22 victory. EMILY GEWIRTZ had 14 digs, two kills and three assists for the Tribe while KRISTINA LEE led the way with seven kills.

Monticello 2, Central A&M 0. GRACE BLICKHAN had five kills and five digs to lead the host Sages to a 25-22, 25-23 win. EMILY CHITWOOD recorded six kills, ELISE PONTIOUS dished out 19 assists and KAITLYN HUNT added 15 digs.

Sullivan 2, Warrensburg-Latham 0. WITTEN CRAWFORD had seven kills, four digs and a block in a 25-10, 25-18 win. MAGGIE PLANK added four aces, five kills and seven digs.

Buckley Christ Lutheran 2, Urbana University 1. EMMA HOYER had 10 kills and five blocks for the visiting Illineks in a 20-25, 25-20, 26-24 loss.

Normal U-High 2, Rantoul 0. ChaQUERA CROSS had 15 digs, CARSON CHURCH had five kills and TAYLOR WOOD had six assists for visiting Rantoul in a 25-9, 30-28 loss.

El Paso-Gridley 2, LeRoy 0. ASHLYNN COWLES had four kills and LAUREN RUSSELL added seven digs for the visiting Panthers in a 25-12, 25-17 loss.

Shiloh 2, Atwood-Hammond 0. LAUREN MOSES (six kills, four blocks) and DEBORAH PRYLE (11 digs, four kills) led the visiting Raiders to a 27-25, 35-33 win.

Armstrong-Potomac 2, Hoopeston Area 0. MORGAN ZINDARS dished out 12 assists and had nine digs in leading the Trojans to a 25-21, 25-20 win. RACHEL MILES led the team with five kills while ERIKA SIEBERNS had four kills and seven blocks.

Salt Fork 2, Westville 1. The visiting Storm picked up a 25-19, 17-25, 25-22 win behind 13 kills and 11 digs from EMILIE McFADDEN. JENNY KIMBRO added 10 digs and BRITTON SEAMAN collected five kills and two blocks. Westville was led by MIKAYLA ROLINITIS (29 digs), MARIAH ROLINITIS (15 digs) and KAITIE SHAW (nine kills).

Tri-Valley 2, Ridgeview 0. PAIGE JONES had four kills and four digs in the visiting Mustangs' 25-14, 25-10 loss.

Schlarman 2, Milford 0. LAURA GROSS had six kills, five assists, three digs, four blocks and two aces to power visiting Schlarman's 25-9, 25-15 victory.

Bloomington Central Catholic 2, Mahomet-Seymour 0. HANNAH CHARTER had 11 digs for the host Bulldogs in the 25-18, 25-13 loss. TORI VELDMAN led the team with six kills and MASON MOORE had 10 assists.

Cerro Gordo 2, Villa Grove 0. CHELSEA RUND had four digs and three assists for Villa Grove in a 25-17, 25-10 loss.

Clinton 2, Maroa-Forsyth 1. MORGAN HICKMAN's 25 digs, 25 assists, four kills and four blocks led the host Maroons to a 21-25, 27-25, 25-23 win. BAILEY WALKER added nine kills and 22 digs while TAYLOR FILKIN had 12 kills and four blocks.

Urbana 2, Decatur Eisenhower 0. The host Tigers earned a 25-13, 25-12 win behind six kills from JESSICA MACK and five from ALAYNA JACKSON. TAYLOR LOVETT had nine assists and CATE HUMMEL added 10 digs.

In boys' soccer

Judah Christian 3, Decatur Christian 2. Freshman JOSH ZUCKERMAN converted a penalty kick and assisted on GEORGE IBRAHIM's goal to lead the host Tribe. DANIEL KURZ also scored for Judah.

St. Thomas More 3, Clifton Central 0. DAN SHIN's first-half hat trick powered the host Sabers.

Monticello 5, Arthur-Lovington 0. LUKE HANSELMAN and ZACK ARMSTRONG each scored a pair of goals in leading the Sages. BEN MENACHER had two assists and NATHAN MUMM also scored.

Central 12, Decatur MacArthur 0. PIERO LEVANO (two assists) and EMMANUEL KOMBA each scored two goals to power the host Maroons.

Centennial 1, Danville 1. AIDAN REILLY scored a goal for the visiting Chargers and Danville got its lone tally from GRACSON TORRES.

Urbana University 7, Hoopeston Area/Bismarck-Henning 0. RANDALL HORNBAKER and PAUL SEELEY each scored twice to lead the visiting Illineks.

Mount Zion 4, Mahomet-Seymour 2. ZACH MOORE and TYLER MOXLEY scored in the Bulldogs' loss.

In girls' golf

At Savoy. Monticello's EVELYN BRAND carded a 44 to claim medalist honors for the Sages, who finished second to Mattoon in a triangular that also included Champaign Central. The Maroons got a 49 from JANICE CHOO.

At Bloomington. Prairie Central finished second to Bloomington in a triangular that also featured LeRoy behind a 47 from EMILY HEISER and a 48 from JENNA HALE.

At Sheldon. Medalist TAYLOR DURING shot 47 to lead St. Thomas More against Watseka. The Warriors got 49 from DREW GRIMES and KATE MUELLER.

In boys' golf

At LeRoy. JUSTIN MORGAN (45) finished third and AUSTIN MATLOCK (48) was fourth for LeRoy in a dual loss to Heyworth.

At Savoy. Medalist LOGAN HANNON's 42 led Mahomet-Seymour to a win against runner-up Champaign Central and Olympia. M-S got 43s from ALEX MARCUSIU and DREW COYNE. Central's RILEY THOMPSON fired a 43 and teammate P.J. GARINGER shot 45.

At Danville. TYLER ELLIS fired a 39, teammate TREY DAVIS shot a 40 and DAKOTA BURMEISTER carded a 43 in leading Danville to a triangular win against runner-up Schlarman and Urbana. Schlarman's HARRISON LESCAK shot 39 and Urbana's CG FACER (38) was the medalist.

At Lincoln. Medalist CHRISTIAN KHACHATURIAN shot a 37 for Centennial in a loss to Lincoln. The Chargers also got a 40 from GREY SCHULTZ.

At Paris. CHASE HENRY shot a 43 for runner-up Westville in a triangular with champion Paris and Tri-County.

In cross-country

At Mahomet. LAUREN WHITEHOUSE, TESSA HANLON and ABIGAIL NIELSEN finished 1-2-3 in leading the Mahomet-Seymour girls to a win against Centennial. Centennial's REBECCA KAEFRING, JAKI VIPOND and GABRIELLE GREASER claimed the next three spots.

At Urbana. Uni's BERIT HUDSON-RASMUSSEN finished first and teammate KATIE TENDER was the runner-up in leading the host Illineks girls against Clinton at the UI Arboretum. Clinton's ALIVIA POWERS was third.

At Urbana. Uni's ARCH ROBISON crossed the finish line first in leading the Illineks past Clinton. The Maroons' CHRISTIAN BARILLAS was the runner-up. VINAY SHANBHAG was third and teammate JONNY YOCKEY was fourth.

At Rossville. Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman's LANE AVENATTI was third and teammate CALEB FARNSWORTH was fifth in leading the Buffaloes to a boys' win against Hoopeston Area, Paxton-Buckley-Loda and Clifton Central. PBL's KIRK VESELY was the runner-up and Hoopeston Area's JOSH JOHNSON was fourth.

At Rossville. PBL freshman AUDREY BLOOMQUIST won the individual title in leading the Panthers to a win against runner-up Hoopeston Area, Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman and Clifton Central. MADIE BROWN finished second for the Cornjerkers and G-RF/C's CASSIDY BAUGH was third.

In girls' swimming

At Champaign. SARAH McGILL (200 freestyle), MARGARET GOLDSMITH (100 freestyle) and KATHERINE PENWELL (100 butterfly) all won individual events and were part of winning relay teams for Champaign Central in a win against Centennial. McGill swam a leg on the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. Goldsmith was on the 400 freestyle relay and Penwell swam on the 200 freestyle relay.

In girls' tennis

At Gibson City. St. Thomas More's ALYSSA VODACEK and ABAGAIL DEMLOW were winners in singles and doubles in a 7-2 win against host Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley.

At Danville. AMY SHAH, REBECCA LEWIS, TAYLOR ELLIS, AMANDA VADEBONCOEUR and NEHA PATEL all won in singles and doubles for the host Vikings in an 8-1 victory.
