First-half goals spark Urbana

DECATUR – Jeffrey Igana and Jonathan Lukusa scored first-half goals and Urbana cruised to a 3-0 boys' soccer victory against Decatur MacArthur on Wednesday.

Nick Lund scored on a penalty kick in the second half for the Tigers (10-7-2).

Danville 6, Eisenhower 1. Blake Janesky had three goals and an assist to lead the Vikings (8-7-5), who secured their first regular-season winning record since 2002.

Clayton Cottle, Corey Pichon and Wesley Barkley also scored for Danville.

Iroquois West 6, Clifton Central 3. In a Class 1A Herscher Regional quarterfinal, the host Raiders broke a 2-2 halftime tie to secure the first postseason win in the program's history.

Ardy Garcia, Giovanni Vergara and Tony Ochoa each scored twice for Iroquois West (5-11-3).
