CHAMPAIGN – Okeima Hampton scored a team-high 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Champaign Central beat Decatur MacArthur 72-66 in a Big 12 girls' basketball game Thursday. Jakeenya Evans (20 points, seven steals) and Kierra Robinson (17 points, 12 rebounds) also contributed for the Maroons.

Bloomington 52, Centennial 40. Chelsea Cross led the visiting Chargers with 10 points.

St. Thomas More 70, Iroquois West 26. Maggie Fitzgerald scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season in leading St. Thomas More. Lisa Clarkson added 11 points and six steals for the Sabers (7-1), who forced 32 turnovers.

Bismarck-Henning 66, Hoopeston 26. Jessica Brito scored a game-high 20 points and Lori Haas added 16 to lead the host Blue Devils.

Bloomington Central Catholic 84, Mahomet-Seymour 29. Kelsie Donley and Maddie Calcagno each scored six points for the host Bulldogs.

South Piatt 43, Judah Christian 42. Shelby Helfrich led all scorers with 22 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for the host Wildcats, who improved to 2-3.

Chrisman 31, Salt Fork 30. Paige Thevenin scored 11 points, including Chrisman's only field goal in overtime, to lift the host Cardinals.

Argenta-Oreana 54, Meridian 30. Kandie Bloch scored a game-high 18 points and Jenna Allen and Natalie Stoerger each scored 11 points for the host Bombers.

Normal West 62, Danville 23. Barisha Keys scored a team-high 11 points for the host Vikings.

Prairie Central 66, Eureka 40. Kaley Corban (14 points), Abby Popejoy (12) and Whitney Spurlock (10) led the host Hawks.

El Paso-Gridley 46, Fisher 45. Savannah Piety had a game-high 30 points and added 12 rebounds for the visiting Bunnies.

Oakwood 56, Westville 39. Amy Martin scored 29 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for the host Comets. Makenzie Baker added 13 points.

Normal U-High 57, Rantoul 45. April Barnett scored a game-high 20 points for the host Eagles. Hannah Mennenga added 12 for Rantoul.

Mattoon 50, Urbana 44. Whitley Pearson scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the host Tigers, while Tiffany Walthour scored a team-high 14.

Unity 52, Central A&M 31. Dani Gooch scored a game-high 15 points to lead the visiting Rockets. Lauren Grubb (13 points) and Aeriel Fender (10) also reached double figures for Unity.

Shiloh 50, Marshall 28. Taylor Hawkins had 20 points and four assists for host Shiloh. Lauren Bogle added 10 points and nine steals for Shiloh (8-0).

Flanagan 35, GCMS 29. Jordyn Nettleton scored eight points for visiting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley.

Tri-County 61, Arthur-Lovington 30. Allison Chancellor had 11 points, eight rebounds, three steals and three assists for A-L, which got 10 points from Myranda Tabb.

In wrestling:

At Tolono. Tryce McMuster (135 pounds) and Andrew Miller (215) each scored wins by pinfall in Danville's 53-22 win against Unity.

Centennial beat Unity 52-30 as Chris King, Kendall Knox and Archie Williams won by pin.

At Clinton. Brandon Ireland (135) and Cole McCormick (171) scored decisions by pinfall for Mahomet-Seymour in the Bulldogs' 45-30 win against Clinton.

At Champaign. Host Central won every match in a 72-0 win against St. Joseph-Ogden, including pins by Jon Morrissey (130), John Whalen (145), Nate Volk (152), Deshoun White (189), Tyler Finkbeiner (215) and Ronald Lemons (285).
