TOLONO – Dani Gooch had 12 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in Unity's 47-26 win against Maroa-Forsyth on Thursday in girls' basketball. Aeriel Fender added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Rockets.

St. Thomas More 52, Momence 28. Maggie Fitzgerald scored a game-high 14 points and nine rebounds to boost St. Thomas More. Lisa Clarkson had 10 points and five steals, and Gina Hinders added 12 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks for the Sabers (10-1).

Champaign Central 54, Danville 34. Kierra Robinson scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the visiting Maroons. Okeima Hampton added 11 points and three assists, and Cheyenne Hedrington scored a team-high 13 points. Danville was led by Eriel Davis' 12 points.

Eisenhower 53, Urbana 36. Whitley Pearson had 11 points in the loss.

Centennial 46, Mattoon 42. Mendy Morrow had 13 points and six rebounds and Stacia Simmons had 10 points for the Chargers.

Monticello 50, Central A&M 42. Sammi Thompson scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds to power the visiting Sages (8-2). Ashley Whitney (10 points, seven rebounds) and Karli Harshbarger (seven points, eight rebounds) also starred for Monticello.

South Piatt 64, Arthur-Lovington 34. Shelby Helfrich had 22 points and 15 rebounds to power the host Wildcats. Katrina Freeman added 16 points and six steals for South Piatt (5-4).

St. Teresa 41, Argenta-Oreana 29. Kandie Bloch scored a game-high 13 points in the loss.

Tuscola 61, Meridian 35. Lindsay Troike scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the host Warriors. Raechel Buckner added 13 points and four steals for Tuscola.

St. Joseph-Ogden 54, Clifton Central 12. Rachael Graham scored a game-high 13 points and Bria Olson added 12 for the visiting Spartans.

Ridgeview 57, El Paso-Gridley 48. Jasmine Hughes had 18 points for the visiting Mustangs.

Cerro Gordo 51, Sangamon Valley 33. Tara Phelps scored 24 points for the Broncos (4-3). Kayla West added nine points and four steals.

Fisher 58, Blue Ridge 27. Savannah Piety scored a game-high 21 points for the visiting Bunnies. Madison Bayler added 11.

Judah Christian 38, Heritage 28. Uzuri Williams had 17 points for the visiting Tribe. Alyssa Chambers added 10 for Judah.

Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 43, LeRoy 41. Shannon Zimmerman scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lift the host Falcons. Regan Romshek added 10 points for GCMS (3-4).

Chrisman 45, Georgetown-Ridge Farm 27. Brooke Wolfe scored 12 points to lead the host Cardinals (6-2, 2-0 Vermilion Valley).

Salt Fork 37, Westville 29. Maddison Stutsman had 14 points for the Storm (4-6). Heather Baker grabbed 14 rebounds for Salt Fork and Tinley Jones added seven points and seven rebounds.

Mahomet-Seymour 31, Olympia 28. Amanda Wallace scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds for the host Bulldogs (3-6). Alyssa Drollinger added nine points and six boards.

Armstrong-Potomac 43, Hoopeston 38. Brooke Markwalder had 10 points and six steals to lead the visiting Trojans. Lacey Simpson had 14 points for the Cornjerkers.

Iroquois West 60, Tri-Point 55. Jen Cox and Riley Schroeder (five assists, five steals) each scored 16 points to lead the visiting Raiders.

Watseka 58, Paxton-Buckley-Loda 33. Katie Cowan had 22 points and 15 rebounds for the host Warriors. PBL got 22 points from Taylor Rubarts.

Clinton 57, Shelbyville 41. Meghan Matthews scored a team-high 15 points and Alicia Mitchell added 13 for the visiting Maroons (2-7).

Prairie Central 61, Pontiac 43. Abby Popejoy poured in 19 points for the visiting Hawks.

In wrestling:

At Rantoul. Jacob Carter (112 pounds), Stephen Wolfe (145) and Morgan Supergan won by pin in Bismarck-Henning's 43-36 win against Rantoul.

In boys' swimming:

At Urbana. Champaign Central's Sam Stewart won the 100 butterfly and the 100 backstroke as the Maroons beat Normal West and Urbana. Urbana's Austin Zarbuck was a dual winner in the 200 and 500 freestyles.
