Hughes, defense pace Storm rout

MARTINSVILLE — Jacob Hughes threw for three touchdowns and Connor Taylor rushed for 107 yards on eight carries as the Storm made it look easy, rolling to a 50-6 victory.

“We were fortunate to take care of business in the first half,” Salt Fork coach Brian Plotner said.

The Storm, which led 30-0 at the break, got two interceptions from Colton Fauver and 10 tackles from Steven Meade.
