TOLONO — Tim Lawless rushed for 104 yards and a pair of touchdowns as St. Teresa pulled away from Unity in an Okaw Valley Black Division game.

Shane Hawkins returned the opening kickoff 88 yards to give the Bulldogs a 7-0 lead, but the Rockets scored on their third play from scrimmage on a 28-yard run by Conner Grace. St. Teresa regained the lead on Lawless’ first TD run from 1 yard out. Unity tied it at 14-14 on Grace’s second score.

St. Teresa took the lead for good at the end of the first half on a 35-yard field goal by Adam Peters. Lawless scored his second touchdown late in the third quarter, and Chris Isom scored on a 12-yard pass from Christian Williams to put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter.

Taylor White scored Unity’s other touchdown, on a 3-yard run in the third quarter.

Unity outgained the Bulldogs 250-205 but turned the ball over twice on interceptions in the second half.

Grace led the Rockets with 118 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns. Justin Deters rushed for 41 yards on 11 carries. Colton Reed led the Rockets with 81/2 tackles, and Dalton Grimm had 61/2.
