Warriors win 'crazy game'

Tuscola    64
Central A&M    42

MOWEAQUA — Nick Bates passed for 178 yards and three touchdowns without an interception to lead the Warriors, which led 42-7 at halftime. Bates also rushed for 63 yards in the back-and-forth Okaw Valley affair.

“It was a crazy game,” Tuscola coach Rick Reinhart said. “We went from being really good to really bad, and I’m not sure how that happened. We were one score from having a running clock but they made it interesting.

“Bottom line is that we won.”

Tristan Williams (55 yards) and Josh Knight (90 yards) each had three receptions.
