Recently: Finished 13th at last weekend’s Class 1A state golf tournament, the best showing among area qualifiers.

In her own words: “It was a great experience. I had a goal of making the top 15, which I did. Other than the weather, it was a great weekend.”

Recently: Scored the lone goal in the Sabers’ 1-0 regional title win against St. Joseph-Ogden and then went to football and made a field goal and was 4 for 4 on extra points in St. Thomas More’s win against Iroquois West.

In his own words: “It was great seeing our (soccer) fans fired up. That fired us up.”

I can kick a field goal from ... 45 yards.

Ever make a tackle? I’ve got two. I’m the kicker, so I don’t get too many opportunities.

My last bicycle kick ... was about four years ago. I got a red card.

Before a match, I’m eating ... PB&J and Gatorade.

I’m listening to ... Nelly.
