No. 8 is ... Salt Fork

We're unveiling our preseason Top 10 area football teams by video (thanks, senior Colton Fauver) and story (thanks, Fred Kroner):

Why is Salt Fork No. 8?

History tells us not to discount the Storm, which has lost a total of five regular-season games during the past six years.

What does Salt Fork have to do to move up the rankings?

Survive a brutal mid-September sequence where the team plays Vermilion Valley Conference favorites Milford and Bismarck-Henning in successive games during Weeks 3 and 4.

Did you know?

Assistant coach Dan Hageman is in his 45th year working with football teams in the district.
