Unity blasts St. Teresa

TOLONO — Taylor White and Colton Reed both rushed for more than 100 yards as the Rockets cruised to a home win, 50-13.  White wound up with 179 rushing yards on 16 carries, including an 85-yard touchdown run. Reed contributed 139 rushing yards on 11 carries and two touchdowns, including a 97-yard score to give Unity a 12-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.

White played a significant role with his arm, too, completing 9 of 16 passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns. He relied on Jayden Kaiser (four catches for 55 yards) and Hiley Freeman (four catches for 26 yards). Chris Branson and Reed each finished with 10 tackles.

“It was the offensive and defensive lines that played really well,” Unity coach Scott Hamilton said. “We made a lot of adjustments.”

First off what was the final score???? such a dramatic headline then no score real professional!

Second all other information (schedules) shows the game was at St. T, did the game get moved? If not there's another screw-up.

N-G needs to get there act together, never be more than a third rate paper.

The information is in the first sentence of the article!  The score was 50-13, and it was a home game for Unity.

You need to get YOUR act together.

It is also a mistake crediting Matt Branson with 10 tackles.  Matt is a sophomore and only played towards the end of the game.   Chris Branson is who should be credited for the tackles.  I know because they are both my sons.
