Tuesday's prep highlights: Landis leads SJ-O
■ St. Joseph-Ogden 52, Centennial JV 20. Katie Landis sank three three-pointers and scored a game-high 11 points, leading a balanced attack that carried the Spartans to a win at Fisher.
■ Fisher 47, Villa Grove/Heritage 10. Caitlin Cole’s 17 points and five rebounds led the host Bunnies to victory. Fisher also received six rebounds from Hannah Varner and five assists from Courtney Delaney.
■ GCMS 48, Dwight 27. The Falcons outscored Dwight 16-4 in the third quarter to pull away to a home victory. Mikayla Baillie scored all 11 of GCMS’ first-quarter points en route to a game-high 15.
■ Iroquois West 60, PBL 57. Fueled by a 25-point second quarter, the Raiders built a 37-23 halftime lead and held off a late Panthers’ rally to win at Gibson City. Led by freshman Grace Schroeder (13 points), five IW players scored at least eight points. Kellyn Maynard fired in 23 points for PBL.
Prairie Central Turkey Tournament
■ Prairie Central 62, Morris 44. With four players scoring in double figures, the Hawks took command en route to a home victory. Shania Scurlock and Laura Crane each finished with 11 points for PC, while Cassie Somers and Kiana Coomber added 10 apiece.
Riverton Early Bird
■ Clinton 62, Decatur Lutheran 31. The Maroons jumped to a 26-5 first-quarter lead and were never threatened while improving to 2-0. Megan Tool racked up 22 points, and teammate Haley Ginger added 12.
■ Arthur Okaw Christian 32, Buckley Christ Lutheran 19. Hanna Erwin scored 11 points and recorded five steals for the Conquering Riders in a road win.
■ LeRoy 48, Oakwood 13. The host Panthers rolled behind Courtney Monier’s 13 points and six rebounds. Teammate Kelsey Walker contributed five assists and five steals. Delaney Durst grabbed eight rebounds for the Comets.
■ Cerro Gordo 54, Decatur Christian 15. Stephanie Shook’s 10 points and six steals propelled the Broncos to a home win. Jessica Blunt added eight points and seven rebounds for CG.
■ Unity 70, Urbana Uni High 4. Megan Bingaman scored a game-high 16 points and tied teammate Brea Cunningham for the game high in rebounds (11) in the Rockets’ home victory. Cunningham finished with 14 points, and Rebecca Maxwell added 12.
■ Mahomet-Seymour 63, Decatur MacArthur 29. The Bulldogs raced to a 38-15 halftime lead in a road victory. Maggie Schmidt and Maddie See led a balanced M-S attack with 14 points apiece. Teammate Allison Fritz pitched in with 13 points.
■ Maroa-Forsyth 52, Blue Ridge 34. The Knights were within four points at halftime before being outscored 20-10 in the third quarter of a road loss. Gabby Pearl scored 16 points for Blue Ridge, and Jamison Brandt added 10.
