Five boys' tennis players to watch

Austin Aten, Champaign Central: Freshman has emerged as the Maroons' No. 1 player and is expected to be a strong force in his first year on the prep scene.

Tyler Ellis, Danville: Now a sophomore, played No. 1 singles for the Vikings as a freshman and was part of a doubles team that qualified for state.

HakSoo Lee, St. Thomas More: Now a senior, played No. 2 singles for the Sabers as a junior and is helping the program get off to a solid start.

Sam Wampler, Champaign Central: Now a junior, played No. 2 singles for the Maroons as a sophomore and was part of a doubles team that qualified for state.

Kenneth Yun, Champaign Central: One of the four standout freshmen who will keep the Maroons in a position of prominence in the foreseeable future. Likely No. 2 singles player.
