Bulldogs set quick pace

At Danville. Centennial defeated the Vikings 25-23, 25-12 in a Big 12 match. Jordan Ogle had eight digs and a service ace for Danville.
At Decatur. Christie Stark's four kills and six digs lifted Urbana to a 25-15, 25-18 victory against Eisenhower.

Recently: Scored five goals against Georgetown-Ridge Farm to break the area’s season record for goals and then added one more in a 1-1 tie against Fisher/GCMS. His career total of 159 (61 this year) has tied the all-time IHSA state record.

At Centralia. Urbana's NICOLE CHOQUETTE was the show-stopper at the Orphan Invitational, finishing in 19 minutes, 8.8 seconds to win by 30 seconds.
At Metamora Invite. Hannah Wright finished in 19:26 as Champaign Central placed 12th. Jasmine Gray and Jasmine Schreiber also broke 22 minutes.
At Champaign. LIBBY COCAGNE had seven kills and five aces for Centennial in a 25-15, 25-13 win against MacArthur.
At Urbana. JAMIE BLUE and HANNAH JOHLAS each had seven kills and JO ELLEN MACHESKY added 15 digs to lead Urbana University to a 25-20, 25-23 win against Arthur Okaw Christian. JULIANA TRACH contributed 13 assists.
At Danville. Bismarck-Henning's TYLER MOEWS shot a 77 to finish second and teammates JARED ANDERSON, STEPHEN KROUT and ANDY BOTT all tied for fifth, firing 79s to lead the Blue Devils (314) to a Class 1A regional title at Harrison Park. Tuscola (343) finished second thanks to medalist CAMERON WESTJOHN's 72. Blue Ridge (357) grabbed the final team spot.
