Recently: Won the 800 meters in the Danville Open invitational indoor meet.

In his own words: “In basketball, the coach keeps us in pretty good shape. We’ve been running a lot more in (track) practice. The last two weeks, I’ve been taking my workouts more serious and putting more effort into it.”

I sent my last text to ... Jessica Muehlher.

I’m driving ... a Volvo S80.

I need tickets to ... the NCAA men’s national championship basketball game.

Favorite track is ... where the junior high state meet is held in Peoria.

My favorite team is the ... Boston Celtics.

Before a race, I’m listening to ... mainly rap music.

After a race, I’m eating ... Taco Bell.

My pet peeve is ... when people don’t have good hygiene.

In five years ... Hopefully being an assistant basketball coach in college.

Chrisman High School is ... very prideful in its sports and very close as a community.

Recently: Was first in the 1,600 meters and second in the 800 meters at the Big 12 Conference indoor meet.

In her own words: “Getting second in the 800 drove me to get first in the mile. In the 800, you have to run fast. In the mile, you can strategize. I sat behind Mercedes (Elliott, from Danville) and the last lap made my move.”

My favorite track is ... Urbana High School.

My favorite professional team is ... the Chicago Cubs.

Before a meet, I’m listening to ... upbeat, fast-paced music.

After a meet, I’m drinking ... milk shakes.

My pet peeve is ... when my cat sits on my homework.

In five years ... After running in college, I hope to be an athletic trainer for a high school.

Centennial High is ... an overall energetic atmosphere.
