The spring sports season is officially under way.

Baseball, softball, girls' soccer and boys' tennis events were contested last week through iffy weather, joining the already-ongoing indoor track and field scene.

That means there are some things to discuss pertaining to the conclusion of winter prep athletics and the start of the spring campaign.

The first achievement I heard of came from Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin junior Caleb Lahey.
