1964 Rose Bowl Memory

We did not go out with the official tour on that one. We went out with a different group. It wasn't the alumni tour. We didn't fill the plane up here. Willard didn't have capacity here for filling planes with that much fuel wise. So we had to peoria to refuel. While we were there, they dropped a hose through a wing. So we sat for two and-a-half hours waiting for them to get that fixed. But we had a good time out there in Pasadena. On New Years Eve, a bunch of us went out, of course. Coming back, the plan was an old three-tailed Constellation. They couldn't get the temperature in it right. In teh front half it was 90 degrees, and in the back, it was 30. But we got back with no problems.
