Softball
EVANSTON – The Illinois softball season came to an end this morning after the Illini dropped a 9-1 decision to Iowa in the Big Ten tournament at Northwestern.
The Illini (30-32) grabbed an early lead in the top of the first inning when freshman Danielle Zymkowitz scored after Iowa center fielder Quinn Morelock misplayed the first of two Angelena Mexicano doubles.
Russian hopes to bring good luck to Illini in NCAA tournament
