URBANA — An Urbana man with a history of drug-related convictions who allegedly had a loaded gun in his car Saturday is due back in court in March.

Leavell Allen, 33, who listed an address in the 1200 block of East Green Street, Urbana, remained in the Champaign County jail Tuesday after being charged Monday with being an armed habitual criminal, a Class X felony.

URBANA— A man who was shot by Champaign police officers after he allegedly raised a gun and threatened them in Champaign last month was charged on Monday with being an armed habitual criminal and home invasion.
