Committee sends same-sex marriage bill to House

SPRINGFIELD -- An Illinois House committee approved legislation allowing same-sex marriage in Illinois.

Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for DeWitt and McLean Counties until noon Wednesday. The advisory calls for snow and freezing drizzle. Accumulations of 1 to 2 inches of snow is expected Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning. Total snow amounts are expected to be 4 to 5 inches by noon on Wednesday.
