SAVOY — Busey Bank will close four branches — including its Savoy branch — on April 15, bank spokesman Amy Randolph said Wednesday.
Other branches that will close at the end of that business day include the Fort Jesse Road branch in Normal, the Ash Avenue branch in Decatur and the branch in Pekin.
CHAMPAIGN — The founding partner of a Chicago-based private equity firm has been added to the board of directors of Busey Bank's parent company, First Busey Corp.
Stephen V. King of Evanston, who founded Prairie Capital with Bryan Daniels in 1997, became the 10th member of the First Busey board on Jan. 1.

DANVILLE — Carter Construction Services Inc. of Champaign filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in U.S. Bankruptcy Court on Wednesday.

The bank says it will donate $2 to the organization each time it receives a new like on Facebook or new follower on Twitter, and it will donate $1 for every Facebook share or Twitter retweet.
